This Michael Zen release suffered from distributor error, as the DVD exists with the wrong title "Perversions" affixed. Zen directed two separate features in 2000 with overlapping casts, both starring Jewel De'Nyle, and "Honeymoon Heat" is a poor comedy, lost in the shuffle.
It concerns the tribulations on their honeymoon of Lee Stone and Jewel, with old flames of hers popping up at the resort (notabluy Joel Lawrence) and many a flashback to provide separate sex vignettes. Neither lead player is well-suited to comedy, and the romance aspect of what would be called a Couples film back then is smothered by the explicit sex, not staged in a romantic way (in terms of content or "opening up" to the camera) by Zen.
