Well, with everything falling apart, Ana shot, Wilkes kidnapped, Dottie gone, Vernon in charge of the SSR, it will be very hard for our heroes to bounce back and win. This episode they started their comeback.
First, let's start with the star of this episode, James D'Arcy. I wanted him to have a good episode and I'm really glad he could show his range, from worrying husband to vindictive hero. The fact that Ana can't have children is also very illuminating to me. Because of this, I truly believe that Jarvis was the real father figure for Tony, due to the fact that they couldn't have children of their own. I think this is reflected easily through Tony as he literally named his computerized assistant after Jarvis.
I keep loving Manfredi as he brings back some good humor to the show. Thompson gets his hand on some incriminating evidence about Carter, however, I think it is pretty obvious that it wasn't Peggy, it was her brother. They both share the same first initial and it would be smart of the writers to make it her brother. He was in the S.O.E, explains how he recommended her. So he might have faked his death to cover up his involvement in the massacre Thompson discovered. However, it was nice to see Thompson is joining back with Team Carter.
Wilkes confused me this episode though. I don't really understand why he is helping Whitney and why he threatened Carter. Also, I don't know what Vernon is doing. Like he is helping Whitney, but what is his job? He is in cahoots with the Arena Club but all he seems is like a foil for the SSR. And sure Samberly was kind of fun in his own way, but the romance between him and Rose is so forced.
