Cobra Kai has never been shy about digging into The Karate Kid vault, but Season 6 Part 3 might just bring back something that could settle one of the biggest fan debates ever. By now, there are probably only about five people on the planet who have not watched Netflix's mega-hit series "Stranger Things." Since its debut in 2016, this imaginative tale about the ongoing battle between a group of kids from Hawkins, Indiana, and dangerous monsters from another dimension has dazzled audiences with its clever blend of dark horror, science fiction, and 1980's pop culture. Its plucky cast of veterans and young, up-and-comers only adds to the fun. Now, it's hard not to hop on social media without seeing a post or two on Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, Natalie Dyer, or Charlie Heaton, among others, in the large ensemble.
Still, you're not here for the cast. You wanna talk monsters, and, oh boy, do we have you covered. We've ranked every monster in "Stranger Things" from worst to best, mainly just for kicks, but hopefully to stir a healthy debate amongst fans.

The Red Ranger leads the Power Rangers, and that has been set in stone since Mighty Morphin Power Rangers made its debut in the West. There is another set rule in the world of Power Rangers, that there are only certain colors that a woman ranger can wear. There has been a slew of Pink Rangers, a few Yellow Rangers, and the odd Blue Ranger. There is also the fact that there have been more than a few female Red Rangers.

The new Power Rangers film, sources reveal, is set to have a female lead, and that has caused a lot of outrage and confusion online, as if the Rangers have never found themselves led by a female character. However, there seems to be some pushback with how ‘woke’ the film is allegedly getting.

Power Rangers missed out on an incredible crossover opportunity during the Disney era, and it still bothers me over 20 years later. While Power Rangers tried to keep roughly the same cast during what became known as the Zordon era, the franchise switched to standalone seasons in 1999 with Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. As a result, Power Rangers now had the opportunity to do crossover episodes in which the current heroes would team up with the previous team. Most Power Rangers crossovers were based on Super Sentai team-up specials and movies, although they were often recontextualized.
From the Lost Galaxy Rangers teaming up with the In Space crew to the Wild Force heroes receiving reinforcements from the future, the early 2000s were an exciting time for Power Rangers fans who valued continuity and wanted to see their favorite characters interacting. Crunchyroll may have already recently featured two different anime that blend isekai and reverse isekai together, but a new series called Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! not only explores this rarity effectively but introduces a unique way in which characters travel between worlds, further distinguishing itself from even the most popular isekai anime. Meanwhile, both of the worlds in Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! are connected by a secret ingredient that makes all the difference - a subtle touch of romance.
The way characters travel between worlds is through sleep, and the few rules known about it make this already unique "vessel" even more compelling. The human earthling Kazuhiro Kitase travels to a magical world in his dreams, where he sometimes adventures with the eponymous elf Mariabelle or Marie. Upon waking up, he always finds himself back in his bed on Earth. What's so interesting is that, one day, Marie...

Naomi Scott recently starred in the horror sequel, Smile 2, and this successful outing has been a long time coming for the actress, who made her breakout five whole years ago. Smile 2 is the sequel to the 2022 horror hit, Smile. The franchise centers on a demonic force called The Entity, which plagues its victims with horrifying hallucinations of people smiling creepily. After witnessing the tragic demise of Rose at the end of Smile, Smile 2 focuses on a new protagonist, pop star, Skye Riley. Skye is played by English actress, Scott.
Scott may be somewhat unfamiliar to audiences, but she has actually been in the acting business for quite a while. Scott's first major role was in the 2011 Disney Channel original film, Lemonade Mouth, where she was part of a high school band. After that, Scott collected a number of small TV roles until she appeared in 2017's Power Rangers.

The best Elizabeth Banks movies and TV shows include a variety of comedies and a few horror and action movies that show her range as a comedy star. Banks got her start in high school when she tried out for a school play and found her calling. After college, she moved on to study theater at the American Conservatory Theater and then turned down her first offered role (the soap opera Santa Barbara). Instead, she got her start in indie films and then worked steadily in smaller movies for a few years.
In 2005, she finally found her breakout role in the comedy movie The 40-Year-Old Virgin. That led to mostly supporting roles over the years before she finally decided to move into directing her own movies. In 2013, she directed the critical failure Movie 43 before she found more success by directing the sequel to Pitch Perfect after appearing as an actor in the first movie.

From the name alone, The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World sounds like it would be Crunchyroll's most original isekai of the season just for including a spin on Power Rangers with its Kizuna Five. While that's definitely part of it, the real point of interest comes from how it addresses one of the genre's main issues. Very few isekai highlight the protagonist's former life, and since the vast majority of these heroes start as normal people, they never have any powers to bring with them.
Of course, reverse isekai usually explores the latter scenario to some degree if the hero originally comes from a magical world, but in many of these cases, their powers don't transfer over when they get transported to Earth, all for the sake of conflict. However, The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World is revolutionizing both tropes. The eponymous hero Togo...

Tommy Oliver is the Power Rangers character with the most forms in the TV show, having used four different colors and five different sets of powers. Introduced as the evil Green Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Tommy was freed from Rita Repulsa’s mind control spell and joined the heroes. Despite the massive popularity of the Green Ranger, “Green With Evil” was only the beginning of an impressive story that would continue for decades. As a result, Tommy was always getting upgrades and new costumes.
One of the reasons why Tommy was part of so many different Power Rangers teams is that, for most of the 1990s, the show tried to keep as many original cast members as possible. Tommy, Kat, and Adam were all in Mighty Morphin, Zeo, and Turbo, meaning they all got multiple forms in a short period. That said, Tommy was special in a lot of ways,...

Austin St. John, Walter Emanuel Jones, and Thuy Trang left Power Rangers midway through season 2, and the franchise would have been drastically different had the original Red, Black, and Yellow Rangers remained on the team. With three cast members set to exit the series after not getting their contracts renewed, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers essentially had two options. Either Jason, Zack, and Trini were going to be recast, or the show would have to introduce three new characters. Power Rangers went with the latter and introduced Rocky (Steve Cardenas), Aisha (Karan Ashley), and Adam (Johnny Yong Bosch).
The Power Rangers franchise would never be the same again after the exits of the original Red, Yellow, and Black Rangers for several reasons. The Power Rangers series has been a global phenomenon for over 30 years, but some villains were more remarkable than others. With more than 20 themed TV seasons, three theatrical releases, and countless actors who donned the famous colored suits, the Rangers have taken on countless enemies. When it comes to villains, every Power Rangers season usually has a couple of big and countless monsters of the week as well as the foot soldiers.
Many of these Power Rangers villains are meant to be comical, with memorable monsters of the week, like Purse Head, Pumpkin Rapper, and Shellshock, failing to make any sort of dent in the Power Rangers' armor. Others have stuck around a bit longer and posed more of a challenge on many occasions. For example, Goldar was a staple of the resident baddies but never won a major fight, and Mesogog provided some great build-up but with very little payoff.

Jason and Kimberly are two of the most iconic Power Rangers characters, and whether they were ever supposed to be a couple is a tricky question that involves a lot of rumors, different continuities, and scrapped plans. As the original Red and Pink Rangers, Jason and Kimberly are among the most recognizable characters in the franchise and continue to be part of the Power Rangers universe in different ways. From the comics to the video games, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers remains relevant over 30 years after the original show premiered.
Kimberly and Tommy were the main couple of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, with their relationship starting shortly after the events of “Green With Evil.” However, with Amy Jo Johnson no longer on the show, Power Rangers Zeo had Kimberly break up with Tommy through a letter. Austin St. John’s Jason, on the other hand, returned to the show during Zeo.

The Power Rangers have starred in all manner of bizarre stories over their historic TV career, with certain episodes standing out as being especially strange. Originally created using footage from the Japanese Super Sentai tokusatsu series, the franchise was created with the addition of new footage with American actors meant to bridge the cultural gap. This mishmash of ideas often created some incredibly weird one-off episodes.
Many of Power Rangers' strangest episodes earn their title through their odd villain of the week, which are sometimes incredibly weird even by the standards of the series. Others attempt new formats or crossovers unique to the series, making for memorable, if perhaps poorly-informed, novelties when placed among the wider range of the franchise. Throughout many years and multiple Power Rangers series, the helmeted heroes have endured some truly odd circumstances.

Power Rangers’ Best 1990s Season Isn’t Mighty Morphin And Deserves As Much Love As The Original Show

Power Rangers will always be synonymous with the 1990s, but the show’s best season from that era was not Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Having been around for over 30 years, Power Rangers has seen almost a thousand episodes as well as three movies. The franchise also includes hundreds of comic book issues, multiple video games, and more. Despite such a long list of Power Rangers shows and movies, it’s difficult not to associate the franchise with Mighty Morphin, the original series that ran from 1993 to 1995.
Although nostalgia plays a role when looking at Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the original series was very good and became a pop culture phenomenon for a reason. The Zyuranger aesthetic worked incredibly well for an American superhero show, with Mmpr also including a compelling cast of main characters that will forever be remembered by fans of the series. Power Rangers Lost Galaxy star Archie Kao, who portrayed Kai Chen in the series, addresses his potential return to the franchise. Season 7 of the larger Power Rangers franchise was the first to introduce an entirely new cast for its core team, with Kai acting as the Galaxy Blue Ranger for the team. A strict, by-the-books team member, Kai uses the Gorilla Galactabeast, and often found himself in conflict with team leader and Galaxy Red Ranger Leo Corbett (Danny Slavin). Warning: Spoilers for Hulu's Interior Chinatown!
Based on Charles Yu's novel of the same name, Interior Chinatown is a mind-bending and genre-hopping series that premiered on Hulu in November 2024. The show (executive produced by Taika Waititi and with Yu himself serving as showrunner) centers on a "Generic Asian Man" named Willis Wu (Jimmy O. Yang) whose daily routine is interrupted by witnessing a crime, leading him to team up with Chinatown's mysterious new detective Lana Lee (Chloe Bennet). As the layers of the mystery slowly unravel, Willis and Lana realize they are minor characters in a police procedural called Black and White.
Interior Chinatown's narrative-within-a-narrative introduces several other characters in Willis' life whose agency comes into question when he realizes the Chinatown they live in does not correspond to real life. One major example includes Willis' day job at Golden Palace, a stereotypical Chinese restaurant run...

This is the fictional story of five strangers picked to live in a house and have their lives taped to find out what happens when people stop being polite and start getting murdered… My Little Eye. And if you haven’t seen this one, it’s the Best Horror Movie You Never Saw.
Reality shows are nearly unavoidable these days, but back in the ‘90s they were still rare. Aside from MTV’s The Real World and episodes of Cops, we hadn’t been exposed to much reality programming yet. And when word started leaking out about the development of shows like Big Brother and Survivor, they sounded odd. A little twisted, potentially dangerous. Big Brother was offering the chance to watch its contestants on 24/7 live streams. Survivor was taking its contestants out to isolated locations and leaving them to provide basic survival necessities for themselves. While the concept of Big Brother just seemed weird,...

Whenever the next Power Rangers movie happens, it should borrow from one of the coolest Green Ranger stories in the franchise to finally correct a 30-year-old mistake. Power Rangers’ most recent movie, the 2017 reboot, bombed at the box office and killed any chances of it getting sequels. While seeing a Power Rangers cinematic universe following the 2017 reboot would have been exciting, the franchise has long moved from that iteration. Power Rangers has since continued to release TV shows and specials, and it now remains to be seen what is next for the brand.
With Power Rangers Cosmic Fury’s ending bringing some sort of closure to the show, now is arguably the perfect time for another Power Rangers reboot. Be it on the big screen or with a new TV show, the franchise can use this hiatus to reimagine itself and start fresh, even if it means moving away from the current Power Rangers chronology.

In its first minute, What If...? season 3 showed how perfect the MCU series could have been, and solved a major criticism aimed at the multiversal Marvel Animation show. What If...? season 3 kicked off on December 22, and its eight-episode run was the final chapter for the animated series that explores alternate storylines and variant characters from across the McU's multiverse. Season 3 is What If...?'s most boundary-pushing installment yet, and it did something no previous season had done in its premiere's opening moments.
What If...? season 3's premiere, "What If... the Hulk Fought the Mech Avengers?," saw a new Avengers team kitted out with huge mechanical suits of armor that were designed by Tony Stark's Iron Man after Bruce Banner accidentally created a legion of giant Hulk monsters. Inspired by elements of anime, Godzilla stories and Power Rangers narratives, What If...? season 3's premiere was a wild adventure. This inspiration,...

Launching a successful movie franchise has become a more and more difficult task for studios in today’s day and age, with even the most successful of properties not always leading to sure-fire hits at the box office.
Sony’s Spider-Man franchise is a perfect example of this with Sony now planning on slowing down on its Spider-Man universe after a series of flops at the box office in the form of Morbius, Madame Web, Venom: The Last Dance, and Kraven the Hunter. However, Sony’s failed Spider-Man Universe isn’t the only franchise that has struggled in recent years.
Back in 2017, Lionsgate attempted to bring one of the most successful franchises back to the big screen with Power Rangers. The film had all the makings of a hit including a strong cast led by Stranger Things breakout Dacre Montgomery and an ensemble that included the likes of Elizabeth Banks,...

The Power Rangers universe was built on crossovers and cameos, many of which came out of nowhere and helped build a sense of continuity that made the show even better. When it comes to special appearances in Power Rangers, there is a difference between the usual crossover episodes between the current and the previous team, and cameos from legacy heroes. Almost every season had one team-up episode featuring the previous Power Rangers team, but not every season had cameos from other generations.
From 1993 to 1998, every Power Rangers show was part of the same overarching story that later became known as the Zordon Era. After Power Rangers in Space, the show started to have more standalone series, which made cameos and crossover episodes very special. From iconic Rangers showing up to help the younger generation to villains returning decades after their first appearance, Power Rangers knows how to do cameos.

The original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Megazord has come to life through impressive, nostalgic '90s cosplay, which shows the Dinozord combo getting built. The Megazord is a combination of the massive Zord robots used by the titular heroes to fight major threats across the series. While there are many strong Megazords throughout Power Rangers history, the Dino Megazord is a classic for being the very first one introduced in the franchise. It is formed by a combination of the T-Rex, Mastodon, Pterodactyl, Triceratops, and Sabertooth Tiger Zords, all of which form the armored titan of a machine.
Now, Super Queen Studio has posted a video showing a time-lapse of the Megazord from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers being built around someone cosplaying as the massive robot. The video first shows the incorporation of the Triceratops and Sabertooth legs, followed by the combined T-Rex, Mastodon, and Pterodactyl that make up the rest of its body.

It’s nearly morphing time again as the Power Rangers franchise is rumored to make its big-screen comeback. If recent reports are to be believed, a rebooted live-action film is being developed that is bound to repackage the nostalgia of the action franchise that gained popularity ever since it hit the small screens back in the 1990s.
A new Power Rangers reboot is rumored to be in development (Credit: Lionsgate).
Despite its popularity, the franchise has never quite transitioned well to the big screen and the upcoming reboot will be a new attempt at the same. The news certainly has fans excited and already discussing potential casting choices. Some fans have already picked their first choice for the role of the Yellow Ranger, and it is none other than a Cobra Kai star.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is a fun tribute to the popular franchise, blending old-school charm with new-school gameplay mechanics. This game was made by Digital Eclipse, a company known for bringing old games back to life. It tries to capture the joy of arcade brawlers from the 1990s while adding new elements that will resonate with new players and fans alike.
Players must handle a straightforward but engaging narrative that centers on Robo Rita’s plan to change the past against a backdrop of time-traveling chaos. In addition to combat, character interactions that incorporate humor and familiarity into the gameplay are made possible by this premise. The choice of playable Rangers, each with their combat techniques, enhances player agency.
For example, the Yellow Ranger may need more skill because she has a shorter range, while the Red Ranger’s ability to handle crowds makes for different strategies.

Paramount is currently the frontrunner to secure the rights to this anticipated reboot, setting the stage for what could be a thrilling new series.
The decision to reboot the series comes after previous attempts to revitalize the Power Rangers didn’t quite meet expectations.

Yesterday, we shared a rumour claiming that Hasbro is moving forward with a new live-action Power Rangers movie and an animated TV series. The update came after the company's deal with Netflix fell apart, robbing fans of a slate of streaming projects featuring the iconic team of heroes.
X's @Jinsakuu has proven to be a reliable source for Power Rangers scoops and leaks in recent years. Today, he's shared several exciting updates about what's happening with the franchise.
He starts by revealing that the movie has nothing to do with what Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F***ing World) was planning for Netflix. It appears talks between Hasbro and Paramount Pictures have gained traction, with at least some chatter about a buyout which could see Power Rangers permanently fall under the latter studio's umbrella.

When the news broke that Hasbro had teamed with Netflix for a new slate of Power Rangers movies and TV shows, excitement among fans was high.
Unfortunately, even with Jenny Klein (Jessica Jones) tapped as showrunner for the TV series and Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F***ing World) serving as the franchise's creative lead, the whole thing ultimately fell apart.
That's left the Power Rangers franchise in limbo but we bring you a positive update today courtesy of scooper Daniel Richtman.
He claims that a new live-action movie is now in development and reveals plans for an animated TV show as well. We have no intel beyond that but a resurgence for the property could be on the horizon. The 2017 movie was meant to breathe new life into the property but made too many missteps and fans walked away unhappy.

MCU’s animated anthology series, What If…? returns with its third and final season, with a release schedule of a new episode every day, making the holiday season just a little bit more enjoyable for series fans. Tackling one alternate reality story at a time, as an MCU narrative, What If…? has much more freedom in storytelling aspects than other Marvel media and has occasionally provided hints regarding what is to be expected from the upcoming live-action ventures as well. Despite having a consistently good track record through its first two seasons and being the most innovative direction the MCU had taken regarding the multiverse arc, What If…? will conclude its journey with the current season, as the massive rescheduling through the cinematic universe has shuffled things up in a big way. Nevertheless, we can enjoy the series while we still have the chance, without getting caught up in the...

Osamu Tezuka reshaped Japanese pop culture with his manga "Astro Boy." In a future world, Japanese science minister Dr. Tenma loses his son Tobio in a car accident. He recreates Tobio as an android, Astro (known as Atom in the original Japanese). The manga is a futuristic reimagining of "Pinocchio" that becomes a superhero story.
You can trace Japan's love affair with robots to "Astro Boy" — modern mecha and shonen manga/anime wouldn't exist without it. Despite being foundational in Japan, Astro Boy isn't much of an icon in the United States. Power Rangers (2017) was supposed to lead to multiple sequels, which makes the reboot’s failure even more disappointing. Power Rangers has a complicated history with theatrical movies. The franchise’s first attempt to turn the TV phenomenon into box office success was in 1995 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. While the 1995 Power Rangers movie has since become a classic thanks to TV reruns and VHS, it didn’t do exceptionally well when it came out. Two years later, Power Rangers got a second film, this time on a much smaller budget and with a more limited release.
Interestingly, 1997’s Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie is the only canon film in the franchise and works as “episode 0” of Power Rangers Turbo. It took 20 years for Power Rangers to get another movie, with Power Rangers (2017) promising a darker, more mature take on the world of Mighty Morphin. With a...

After spending the '80s and early '90s becoming the pre-eminent action star of his generation and feuding with Sylvester Stallone over the title, Arnold Schwarzenegger spent the latter half of the '90s trying to prove he could front charming family-friendly fare -- and wouldn't you know it, he could. Of course, a man who hailed from a small Austrian township and conquered bodybuilding, married a Kennedy, became a movie star, and launched a successful career in U.S. politics was never really going to struggle with something as trivial as a career rebrand. In this installment of the hit CBS comedy series, a leaky water heater mishap threatens to ruin holiday plans as Sam (McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) prepare to host Jay’s hard-to-please dad (Bernard White) and difficult to impress mom (Sakina Jaffrey). Things are further complicated when Sam is possessed by Nancy (Betsy Sodaro) and Jay by Pete (Richie Moriarty).
“We were given the gift of this episode,” McIver says. “When you have Christmas, you have this overlap of people with different personalities and desires. It’s so intense. On top of that, Sam and Jay are also possessed by Nancy and Pete.

When actors Ethan Herisse and Brandon Wilson were getting ready to film “Nickel Boys,” they had no hesitation getting onboard with director RaMell Ross’s vision of telling the story through their characters’ literal point of view, the only slight concern in the back of their minds was “I hope my friends and family don’t hear this and are like, ‘Oh, wait, so you’re not in the movie?’,” said Herisse over breakfast in the corner of a restaurant within a West Hollywood hotel.

There is a lot of information to process in the first official trailer for James Gunn's "Superman" film, which will officially kick off his new DC Studios universe in live-action next July. Heck, we even get to see some members of the Justice League. There's a lot packed into the trailer, so it can be easy to miss some of the important bits -- and one very important shot deserves a special shout-out.
We see Superman kneeling inside of what looks like the Fortress of Solitude, with all of its crystalline structures, and he's holding the hand...
