To Live and Host in LA

A Great Start!

John Mulaney has always struck me as the kind of stand-up who would probably be good in a late night setting, and he honestly crushed it!

The format of the show as a kind of variety show including traditional interviews, along with pre-recorded sketches, field correspondents, audience interactions, and short interviews with random LA residents kept things from getting stale.

There were certainly dead spots, but everyone kept things moving so that it wasn't too long before another bit that actually did land really well.

I'm a fan of John Mulaney and this style of comedy to begin with so I was a pretty easy sell, but it was worth a watch.

Looking forward to the next episode!
