Just five months after it debuted on a different streaming service, the universally acclaimed Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is now available to watch on Netflix. During the production of 2023’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg were tasked with developing a streaming series to further develop this new Ninja Turtles universe. In its 12-episode first season, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles serves to bridge the gap between Mutant Mayhem’s origin story and the film’s much-anticipated upcoming sequel.
After becoming beloved heroes by saving New York City from the wrath of Superfly at the end of Mutant Mayhem, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo are still trying to figure out how to balance their heroics with their lives as regular teenagers attending high school. CBS has got its holiday content lined up and it sadly doesn’t include Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, though the annual festive event is coming back bigger and better this year. I mean, what could be more fun than seeing a giant Stuart the Minion on Television?
The parade has enjoyed a long and successful history since it first began in 1914. However, it would take a few more years for it to be televised for the first time in 1948, and since then it’s been considered prime television. CBS doesn’t seem to think so anymore.
Does CBS Have A Reason For Not Airing Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade This Year?
Even though NBC is considered the official broadcast home of the annual Thanksgiving parade, CBS usually also airs their own broadcast feed.
Sadly, it won’t be happening this year, though the network refuses to confirm the reason behind the move.

Though I’m more of a casual Trekkie, something about Star Trek Lower Decks really clicked with me. I admittedly slept on it for a few years, but after finally giving it a chance, I immediately fell in love with its charming cast of scrappy underdogs, witty humor, and inventive sci-fi storytelling. Just my luck that I become obsessed with the show right as its coming to an end.
But though this may be the last on-screen adventure for our beloved Lower Deckers, at least for now, I’m happy to report that Season 5 sends them off in style with the kind of intelligence and forward thinking that makes Star Trek so beloved alongside the humor and underdog spirit that sets Lower Decks apart from the crowd. Though bear in mind that this only applies to the first five episodes, as that was what was made available to me at time of writing.

Millennials and early Gen Zs know the quality of cartoons that used to air on TV. Shows like Ben 10, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and more have become legendary due to their creative animation and amazing storytelling. So many iconic moments have been witnessed by kids around the world and are still remembered.

Ayo Edebiri's TV streak continues with Tales of the Tmnt, receiving praise for her performance as April O'Neil. Edebiri's successful roles in The Bear and Big Mouth prove her strong range and comedic talent in Hollywood. With 3 major franchises under her belt, including Tmnt and Inside Out, Edebiri's career is on a rapid rise in the industry.
Ayo Edebiri may be relatively new to the acting world, but she has already had an incredible career, and her newest show proves how great her TV streak has been so far. Although she officially started acting in 2014, Edebiri began getting regular roles around 2020, with her most recognizable hit, The Bear, coming two years later. Not only did the show earn the actress numerous personal awards, but The Bear set an Emmy nomination record, giving Edebiri mainstream popularity, and she has continued to utilize this positive momentum which her new streaming hit has proven.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a fun follow-up to Mutant Mayhem, expanding the animated universe with new adventures and foes. Jackie Chan's absence in the spinoff show was cleverly disguised by a humorous gag involving Splinter and the turtles. Voice actor James Sie did a great job filling in for Jackie Chan as Splinter, bringing his extensive voice acting experience to the role.

The movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem premiered in 2023, bringing our favorite ninja turtles (who happen to be teenagers) back to the big screen. And soon, they will appear on the small screen in the series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, exclusively on Paramount+. But do you need to watch the movie to understand the series or can you skip it? What about all other movies and series based on the pizza-loving heroes?
Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is arriving just in time to help parents keep their kids entertained until school is back in session. All you will need to watch the animated series is a Paramount+ account. The series features the voices of Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, Brady Noon, and Ayo Edebiri.

When Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem opened a year ago, it hit like a mutagen bomb. Despite our fab four characters of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael being around for decades—this year marks their 40th(!) anniversary—never before had anyone really thought about treating them like… teenagers.
In the dizzyingly animated film, the characters were played by real adolescents like Nicolas Cantu (Leo), Micah Abbey (Donnie), Shamon Brown Jr. (Mikey), and Brady Noon (Raph). None of whom were old enough to vote when first stepping into the recording booth—a place where they recorded entirely together and in a style apropos of writers and producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The creatives who long favored spontaneity, and in this case the filmmakers wanted to catch the giggling authenticity of youth.
But you can’t be a kid forever, even if you’re a pizza-loving turtle in a half-shell.

“Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” stars Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon appeared at Comic-Con to preview the teen turtles’ latest adventure — this time a 12-episode series for Paramount+.
The quartet (who reprise their roles from the 2023 movie “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem”) were joined onstage by executive producers and showrunners Chris Yost and Alan Wan (“Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and the 2012 series “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”), as well as Alanna Ubach, who joins the crew as the villainous Bishop.

It’s a pivotal weekend for superhero movies, one in which they’ll refuse to die.
Two powerful forces are set to make one big cosmic boom: The media loudspeaker epicenter that is San Diego Comic-Con, which kicks off Thursday and runs through Sunday, is coinciding with the opening of Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine on Thursday, a movie that’s expected to notch the biggest box office opening year-to-date with a possible $200 million opening. It’s among the very times that the mega global comics confab and an MCU movie opening have fallen on the same weekend.

In the action figure community, in particular, Metalhead has been a fan favorite since its introduction back in the '80s.

Tmnt fans have a lot to look forward to with three upcoming projects showcasing the heroes in a half-shell's adaptability and potential. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are doing better than ever, especially considering the upcoming three projects centered around the quartet, which gives fans plenty to be excited about. "The greatest, bravest teenage brothers are forced to fight solo." Paramount+ has launched the full official trailer for the animated spin-off series titled Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, debuting in August later this summer. This is a continuation of the massively successful animated movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem from last year, one of my favorites as well. Set after the events of the 2023 movie, the Turtles arrive on the streets of New York, where they are faced with new threats & team up with old allies, to navigate through teenage life. They end up fighting a villain known as "Bishop" and her robot henchmen trying to get rid of mutants. The trailer sets up the "they must fight on their own" concept quite well. Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon reprise their roles from the film as the Turtles, alongside Ayo Edebiri reprising her role as April O'Neil.

"I need new butts to kick!!" Paramount+ has revealed a quick teaser for their upcoming animated spin-off series titled Tales of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, set to launch sometime this summer. This is a continuation of the massively successful animated movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem from last year, one of my favorites as well. Set after the events of the 2023 movie, the Turtles emerge from the sewers and onto the streets of New York, where they are faced with new threats & team up with old allies, to navigate through teenage life and villains in the city. The Turtles must deal with their new life as heroes while also dealing with the pressures of going to high school in New York City. Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon reprise their roles from the film as the Turtles, alongside Ayo Edebiri reprising her role as April O'Neil.

The new live-action Tmnt movie will take a darker turn, matching the gritty and violent roots of the original comics. Fans were shocked when Michelangelo was revealed as The Last Ronin, paving the way for a darker, rated-r film adaptation. The Last Ronin storyline delves into trauma, grief, and mental health, setting a much darker tone compared to previous Tmnt movies.
The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action movie will make a major change to the movies, finally doing the comics justice after 37 years. Tmn is a vast and ever-expanding franchise created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Ever since the success of Tmnt Mutant Mayhem, questions have loomed about what's next. Information has come out about a sequel to the hit movie and a cartoon called Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, both of which continue the comedic and plucky tone of the onscreen renditions of the show.
