No pun intended - everything ends one way or another. Though I reckon the philosophical question is, if that just means it is a beginning in a different sense. No matter what you believe ... if you think there is more after Death or nothing ... it is the big question and mystery we won't ever get an answer to. Which I reckon is a good thing in some respect. And an interesting question for this short movie to pick up.

That all said, how would we act if we knew the world was ending? As I already said, we know (though we never have it present in our thinking) there is an end to our existence ... but putting a timer to it, does make us see things differently. That concerns the past as well as the future ... the movie does a decent job in putting us in the mind of one individual and their perspective ... you may agree or disagree with his actions ... but we all experience things a different way ... same it true for us facing the ... end!

The end of world. A theme often used, temptanting, provocative, maybe seductive.

In the case of this short film, just wise used. A young man , alone , in his mother appartment. Few calls, the meets with pizza guy and a shop seller. The past offering to him the fair kick for happiness behinf'd the end of everything.

Well acted, poetic touch, nice crafted atmosphere and hopefull - energetic end.

A film about sense of life in its last days, about fixed past far by regrets, about selfishness of a mother and a pizza guy refuged in routine like the seller part of conspiracy teories.

In short, a seductive surprise about clever developement of a so familiar theme.
