The critically acclaimed and award-winning artist Ricardo Delgado returns to the world of Dracula and Transylvania as he prepares to release The Art of Dracula of Transylvania into the world. The artist is perhaps best known for creating Age of Reptiles, a comic book series from Dark Horse Comics spanning 22 years that earned him an Eisner Award for Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition back in 1997. He's also had his fingerprints in Hollywood as he's worked in the animation and art departments for works like Men in Black, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Among his most recent works as an author and artist is Dracula of Transylvania, a now sold-out illustrated novel that puts a fresh twist on the classic Bram Stoker tale. Though this weekend’s D23 Expo didn’t yield as much news in the way of Marvel Studios’ theatrical plans as I thought it would, we at least learned much exciting new information when it came to the Disney Plus side of things. Chief among these announcements was the reveal of a TV show to be headlined by She-Hulk.
Right now, not much is known about the gestating project, but it’s quite exciting to ponder the possibilities. If you’re familiar with the source material, then you’re well aware of how Bruce Banner’s cousin, Jennifer Walters, is somewhat comparable to the Smart Hulk seen in Avengers: Endgame insofar that she’s always in green form and retains her intelligence. That said, the producers would be wise to look to Charles Soule’s acclaimed comic book run showcasing what she can do as an attorney.

Having the tough task of following up Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home is becoming one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the summer. With that challenge, the film’s got to hide some cards up its sleeve in order to keep folks excited. But it’s not like Marvel’s ever had a problem in the fan-satisfaction department.
In fact, several people over on Reddit (and a few sources close to We Got This Covered) have now revealed one of those cards. And it’ll take the form of a cameo appearance during the mid-credits scene. Of course, spoilers will follow from here on in so if you want to walk into the film with a clean slate, turn back now. You’ve been warned.

Marvel has released sneak peek of their new Spider-Man animated series. It features a clip of Spidey in the heat of battle with Scorpion. The new series goes back to the origins of Spider-Man as a hero while Peter Parker discovers his powers and begins fighting crime in New York City.
It looks like something the kids will enjoy, but Marvel hasn't really impressed me with any of their animation projects since The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Since then things have just been going downhill, especially the animation quality.
Maybe some of you will enjoy this first look more than I did. Check it out and tell us what you think! The series is set to debut on Disney Xd this summer.

Over the weekend, Marvel announced that they are developing a new Spider-Man animated series for Disney Xd. The series will simply be called Marvel's Spider-Man, and it's set to drop sometime in 2017. It will tell the story of "an unsure but courageous teen who has to figure out how to be a superhero from the very beginning."
The new series will replace the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man, which is set to conclude in January 2017 in a two-part finale titled "Graduation Day." That story arc will see "Spider-Man stop Doctor Octopus and the Superior Sinister Six from destroying all of the heroes in New York City."
The news of the new series came from Cort Lane, the senior vice president of Marvel Animation and Family Entertainment at Nycc, and this is what he said about it in a statement:

Marvel has already taken its ambitious shared-universe model and expanded it from film to television (and entered the realm of streaming with Daredevil‘s Netflix debut this weekend). Now, however, they may begin experimenting with a new medium altogether: animation. According to Marvel’s Vice President of Animation Development and Production, Cort Lane, animated tie-ins to the larger McU may be on the horizon.
During Emerald City Comic-Con last weekend, Lane was asked by a fan about the possibility of seeing animated projects set in the McU. Lane’s response was a non-committal but promising statement saying that while he couldn’t announce anything, “things are in the works.”
What “things” Lane is alluding to are a complete mystery, but he did point toward Daredevil as a “proof-of-concept” for projects that tie into the larger world that Marvel has created. On one hand, it makes complete sense that the studio...

Seth Green needs no introduction to anyone reading this. He’s an accomplished actor, writer, director, and producer for many high-profile movies and television shows we’ve all grown up watching. Green's acted onscreen in everything from the cult classic Can’t Hardly Wait to Scooby-Doo2: Monsters Unleashed and as Oz the werewolf in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He’s the voice of several legendary characters in such animated projects as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., and many more. Mr. Green’s also headed up Robot Chicken since its debut in 2005.
I had the opportunity to interview Green about his latest voice acting role as the lead character in Yellowbird. He shared with me how he got involved in the film, why he relates to the bird, and the message of the movie. Mr. Green also comments on the making of Yellowbird.

On Marvel's upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy animated series, the man who'll say "I am Groot" so often he may actually begin to believe he's a giant sentient tree-alien is Kevin Michael Richardson, who is definitely no stranger to voicing animated incarnations of well known comic book characters. Richardson has played the likes of Bishop in Wolverine and the X-Men, Nick Fury in Super Hero Squad, and the Joker in 2004's The Batman. Interestingly enough, he also voiced Groot once before on Hulk And The Agents Of S.M.A.S.H. Apparently we'll find out who'll be playing Star Lord, Drax, Gamora and Rocket as the week goes on. Marvel will produce the series, with Alan Fine, Dan Buckley, Joe Quesada and Jeph Loeb on board as as executive producers. Marvel's animated series have been hit and miss (okay, more miss!) in the past so hopefully this lives up to its potential. You...

Jk Simmons has spoken about the likelihood of starring in a new Spider-Man movie.
The actor played editor-in-chief of the Daily Bugle J Jonah Jameson in 2002's Spider-Man and its 2004 and 2007 sequels.
When asked on The Howard Stern Show about the chance of him returning for a future Spider-Man film, he said: "I just heard that we… that's a possibility."
He also said he would "absolutely" return to the role for a new film.
Simmons, who recently starred in Whiplash, also voiced J Jonah Jameson in Hulk and the Agents of Smash, Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble.
The Spider-Man film series has taken on a new creative direction since Simmons last played J Jonah Jameson, with the character only being referenced rather than seen in director Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Saturday Night Live has imagined Jay Z's rise to fame as a biopic in a new sketch starring Simmons.

Has Paramount lost ground a little already with its Star Trek plans? And what are its movie, TV and videogame options?
This article contains spoilers for Star Trek Into Darkness.
Way back in 2009, Jj Abrams managed to reboot Star Trek successfully, attracting a bunch of fans who had never warmed to or tried Trek before, whilst managing to hold on to lots of the old ones. Abrams' film spun a yarn that kept the universe of Gene Roddenberry’s original series intact, even allowing for cameos from Leonard Nimoy’s Spock Prime (rumours abound that Shatner’s Kirk was meant to appear too).
Lots went right. The casting was strong, the film was good, and both critics and paying cinemagoers alike responded favourably (the film has an 83% aggregated rating on Metacritic and took $385 million at the global box office, certainly not to be sniffed at compared to previous Trek films). Why then,...

A 1-minute teaser video of the series was also shown to Comic-Con attendees in Room 6Bcf, with the footage featuring Guardians like Rocket Racoon and Sky-Lord.
The announcement came from a panel comprised of Marvel Animation VP Stephen Wacker, Svp Eric Radomski, VP Cort Lane, and Fred “the voice of Hulk” Tatasciore from the animated series, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. Briefly: With James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy riding a wave of critical acclaim to its August 1st release date, Marvel has no reason not to feel confident in the tentpole. And today, at the San Diego Comic-Con, the studio announced that it would be doubling up on the property, with news that Guardians of the Galaxy will come to the small screen in the form of an animated series.
No word yet on a premiere, but the series will air on Disney Xd. That doesn’t come as much of a surprise, seeing as that kid-targeted network already airs the cartoons Avengers Assemble and Hulk and The Agents of S.M.A.S.H. Accompanying the announcement was a one-minute clip featuring a lot of action and the Rocket Raccoon and Peter Quill/Star-Lord characters.

During the recent Licensing Expo, attendees spotted what looks to be a poster featuring the current animated series for Marvel Studios. The poster includes the current Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-man shows, as well as what could be our first look at the animated Guardians of The Galaxy series that has been rumoured to be in the works from Marvel Animation. A Guardians of The galaxy animated series has been heavily rumored lately from various sites, including our beloved Cbm. As seen on the poster above, the guardians look very reminiscent of their movie appearance, unlike the look they sported when they guest starred in the Avenegers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-man shows. Absent from the poster is the Hulk and the Agents of Smash series, which is currently airing its last episodes of the first season. Could the absence of the show mean that it will not be renewed for a second season?...

It’s Star Wars day 2014 (a.k.a. May 4th), and with it comes the full-length trailer for Star Wars Rebels, a show that examines the rise of the Rebel Alliance in between the events of Star Wars: Episode III and IV. The Disney Xd animated series will also establish the new canon for the Star Wars universe, now that Disney owns Lucasfilm and intends to coordinate all future Star Wars “Expanded Universe” material spanning all platforms (movies, TV show, books, video games, etc.).
Judging by the trailer above, Rebels is cut from the same cloth as the current wave of Disney Xd Marvel cartoon series (see: Avengers Assemble, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.) – as one would naturally expect, and not in a bad way either, per se. Such entertainment is intended for consumption by a younger crowd than the upcoming Star ...

Here's a new set of photos from Marvel's upcoming animated film, Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United. As you'll see, some of them feature Hulk wearing his own armor. Last week the studio released the first action-packed clip from the film, which you can watch here. I haven't been impressed with anything that I've seen from this so far, and according to a lot of the comments I've seen, it doesn't look like the fans are too happy with the movie either.
In this all-new, action-packed story, Iron Man and Hulk face off against Zzzax as well as a pack of Wendigos and the deadly Abomination. Adrian Pasdar (Heroes) voices Iron Man and Fred Tatasciore (Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.) will provide the voice for Banner and the Hulk. Dee Bradley Baker (Klaus the fish from American Dad!) will do the voice of Zzzax.

Marvel has released the first action-packed clip from Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United. It gives us a fun sequence with the two superheroes beating the hell out of each other. I'm not really a big fan of the CG animation in the film, but that doesn't mean it will be a bad movie. I'll give it a shot, though!

Everyone knows Hulk likes to smash. But now you’re going to hear him talk about it. In Marvel’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., the mean green Avenger (Fred Tatasciore) shows his family side, teaming up with a unique group of crime-fighters who all share a fondness for large-scale mayhem. There’s his cousin She-Hulk (Eliza Dushku), his son Skaar (Ben Diskin), along with Red Hulk (Clancy Brown) and A-Bomb (Seth Green). They join together to battle enemies too huge for your everyday puny superheroes to handle. Oh, and all those muscles and egos will be living under one roof, also handling [...]

Yeah, but whose turn is it to take out the garbage? The kicky new Disney Xd toon series Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. (premiering Sunday, Aug. 11 at 11am/10c) is a mix of high-octane action and screwball comedy that finds the incredible Hulk — voiced by Marvel vet Fred Tatasciore — fighting the usual assortment of intergalactic baddies while also living with four other gamma-radiated Hulks under the same roof.
The roomies include She-Hulk (Eliza Dushku), A-Bomb (Seth Green), Skaar (Ben Diskin) and Red Hulk (Clancy Brown), plus their T-Rex pet, Devil Dinosaur.
"They're trying to prove to the world that they're heroes, not destructive monsters," says Tatasciore. "But it doesn't always go so well. To help the PR campaign along, Hulk reluctantly lets A-Bomb film their family life for a reality web series." Which means the big green grunter has to work on his charm. Cracks Tatasciore: "He will actually speak in complete sentences!

Disney Xd has released TV spots for its two new Marvel-based animated series, and it’s pretty clear that they will be rather different from each other in tone, if not in animation styles. While many of us mourn the passing of The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, it’s time to check out the newest version of the assemblage:
TV Spot: Marvel’s Avengers Assemble – Coming July 7
And now for something (almost) completely different… While the Marvel’s Avengers Assemble marketing is heaving towards fans of the movie, you know they’re going for another thing entirely when the Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. spot starts out “What’s more fun than one Hulk? Five Hulks!” Let’s not forget, though that hulk features the voice of Eliza Dushku (Dollhouse, Angel) as She-Hulk. So there’s that.
