Power Rangers Lost Galaxy star Archie Kao, who portrayed Kai Chen in the series, addresses his potential return to the franchise. Season 7 of the larger Power Rangers franchise was the first to introduce an entirely new cast for its core team, with Kai acting as the Galaxy Blue Ranger for the team. A strict, by-the-books team member, Kai uses the Gorilla Galactabeast, and often found himself in conflict with team leader and Galaxy Red Ranger Leo Corbett (Danny Slavin). Kao's last time as Kai included providing his voice in the episode "Forever Red" of 2002's Power Rangers Wild Force.

Lord Drakkon is arguably the most popular of the Power Rangers characters who never appeared in the TV show, and the closest thing to a live-action version of the multiversal conqueror that we got is more than enough proof that the series needs a modern reboot. Power Rangers is currently on hiatus as there has been no new season or announcement of a new show in 2024. Super Megaforce introduced the concept of Legendary Ranger Keys and created a major plot hole that ended up rewriting Power Rangers history. Despite its poor reception, Super Megaforce is one of the most important Power Rangers seasons. Not only did it celebrate the franchises 25th anniversary, but it also revisited a lot of previous teams and costumes through the Legendary Rangey Key concept. Based on Gokaiger, Super Megaforce served as the second season of Power Rangers Megaforce and brought back all of the main characters, this time with new powers and weapons.

Super Megaforce had a lot of problems that were carried over from Megaforce, including but not limited to the tone of the show, the lack of character development, and the lack of stakes despite the premise of the series. Megaforce and Super Megaforce were not based on the same Super Sentai show, which itself created a lot of continuity problems.

Police in Idaho have issued an arrest warrant for Hector David Jr., an actor who starred as the Green Ranger in several Power Rangers series, in connection with the assault of an elderly man.

Ktvb 7 reported Wednesday that David, also known as Hector David Rivera, is accused of shoving an elderly man to the ground after an argument in a parking lot in Nampa, Idaho. A video posted by the Nampa Police Department’s Facebook page shows the incident and allegedly shows the 35-year-old pushing a man in his 60s to the ground before driving off. The elderly man was not injured.

David played the Green Samurai Ranger from 2011 to 2015 in various Power Rangers media, including the television shows Power Rangers Samurai, Power Rangers Megaforce and the TV movie Power Rangers Super Megaforce: The Legendary Battle.

Power Rangers is a legacy, joining a very small list of shows that run for such a long period of time, over 28 years! Throughout that time, the series has had its ups, its downs, and its mehs. I’ve been watching since the ripe age of 2 and have always loved the series, even in some of its more questionable moments.

But where does each season rank? With so many entries which ones stand as the best of the best of the best or which one and is a super mega dud? After a rewatch of all the seasons I ranked them all from worst to best with a little explanation of why they ended up where they did.

Exclusive: Samuel Goldwyn Films announced today that the company has picked up worldwide rights to Vw Scheich’s romantic comedy Stars Fell on Alabama. The movie will hit on-demand and digital on Jan. 8, 2021.

The deal was negotiated by Peter Goldwyn on behalf of Samuel Goldwyn Films and Uyen Le on behalf of the filmmakers.

Fans have a way with running with some pretty highbrow rumors for upcoming films. If there is the merest hint of an event or twist shown in the trailers or advertising, rest assured that some eagle-eyed fan will find it and make his findings known to the rest of fandom. This happened with the upcoming Power Rangers movie, when it was rumored that Rita Repulsa would, in fact be a former Green Ranger gone rogue, and that Zordon was a former Red Ranger.

Subscription VoD service Presto TV will commission original Australian programming and source other content exclusively for the platform.

A joint venture between Foxtel and Seven West Media, Presto TV launched last Sunday. Subscribers pay a monthly fee of $9.99 for the TV stream, the same amount for Foxtel.s 10-months-old Presto Movies, and $14.99 for both.

Presto TV will commission original productions including drama, Seven Network director of programming Angus Ross tells If.. "We will make stuff for Presto TV," he said, without giving any specifics.

As for acquisitions, he flagged the streaming service would buy content such as .binge-worthy dramas. and more children.s programming.

During my grade school years, I would always anticipate the school bell because it meant that I could rush home and watch The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. I’d occasionally tape it, but would always try to be in front of the TV whenever it aired, in order to watch my favourite super heroes battle crazy evildoers in their fantastical world. And, I’ll even admit to being a big fan of Billy, the Blue Ranger, whose fan club was likely the smallest of the bunch.

David Yost landed the role of Blue Ranger Billy Cranston just three months after moving to California in 1993. In an intriguing piece of trivia, his character was named after Bryan Cranston, who at the time was doing voice work for Power Rangers producer Haim Saban.

Yost appeared in more than 200 episodes of Power Rangers, making him the only Ranger to appear in every episode of the original series.

This morning Lionsgate announced they are partnering with Saban Brands, creator of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, to spawn a new live-action film based on the group of high school kids infused with super powers. Now all I'm wondering is who the hell is going to watch itc I did head over to IMDb and apparently the Power Rangers are still on Nickelodeon in a show that began in 2013 titled "Power Rangers Megaforce", but it has only been voted on by 479 people since first airing in February of 2013. Other than that, what attachment does anyone have to these characters of the '90sc In the press release the two companies note a strong worldwide fanbase and perhaps it's just because I'm not a part of it that I'm not aware of its existence. The release also goes on to mention Lionsgate/Summit releases including The Hunger Games, Twilight and Divergent.

If you thought your childhood got a swift kick in the gut with the new Tmnt movie, gather round and let me tell you about your Power Ranger heroes from yesteryear. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers debuted in 1993, and now some twenty years later, we are getting a new live-action flick courtesy of Lionsgate and Saban. I only watched the original version of the show; I think there were other versions involving space, time, and Tmnt crossovers. There was a giant floating head and five teenagers with special powers fighting evil aliens in my version which was pretty sweet when I was ten.

It was only a matter of time before the Saban Group became weary of merely selling toys and wanted to get in on the franchise-based card games that kids these days spend all their money on, and what better way in than through their Power Rangers property? That’s right, the newest incarnation of the Power Rangers, Power Rangers Megaforce, is a blatant marketing gimmick for a new Power Rangers card game. The plots are still paper thin (aliens want to take over Earth, Power Rangers stop them), the acting is still some of the worst on television, and the action still has the overly hammy style that’s been part of the Power Rangers series from day one – but now all of their weapons and abilities power up with cards.

A "Power Rangers" reunion? Don't hold your breath.

Earlier this week, David Yost -- a.k.a. the Blue Ranger -- refused an offer to appear on an episode of "Power Rangers Megaforce," claiming he was treated poorly by the producers of the show.

The openly gay actor, who appeared on the show from 1993-1996, said he experienced homophobic abuse while on "Power Rangers" and is "done with abusive relationships," according to TMZ.

“I walked off set one day during the middle of lunch .... Meet the new "Power Rangers" of "Power Rangers Megaforce."

The new series kicks off on Nickelodeon on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. Est and the Rangers will be taking on invading aliens. The new rangers of "Power Rangers Megaforce" have command of the land, air and sea to battle the forces of evil.

Ciara Hanna plays the Yellow Ranger, Christina Masterson is the Pink Ranger, Andrew Gray is the Red Ranger, Azim Rizk plays the Black Ranger and John Mark Loudermilk is the Blue Ranger. It wouldn't be "Power Rangers" without a mysterious Ranger, this season it's Robo Knight, whose identity will be revealed.

"Power Rangers Megaforce" marks the 20th anniversary of the "Power Rangers" franchise. This series will see the "Power Rangers" battle the evil Warstar aliens. Gosei, a supernatural guardian who has protected Earth with his robot aide Tensou, calls upon the five teens to become the "Power Rangers.
