The shot through the windshield of Deputy Carr driving his patrol car, show that the windshield wipers are having a difficult time keeping up with the massive amount of rain coming down, yet the shots from inside the car as he pulls up to the girls car sitting in the ditch shows almost no rain coming down at all. In fact the road barely even looks wet.
The tornado is shown rotating clockwise. Due to the Coreolis Effect, tornadoes rotate counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.
