The headquarters near the beginning of the movie is the control room of the semi-abandoned Kelenfold power station near Budapest, Hungary. The film crew covered the plain control panels but the ornate glass ceiling is unmistakable. Several films have used the room as a set.
RIPD shooting deados isn't restricted to shots in the head even though in both movies they state they must be shot in the head to be erased.
None of the cast from the first movie return to reprise their role in the sequel.
The only character to return from the first RIPD is Roy Pulipher but with a different actor in the role.
