Parineeti Chopra, who recently starred in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, opened up about her early days as an intern at Yrf Studio. She shared how she would serve coffee to actors, manage their interviews, and eventually landed her first film and a three-film contract with Aditya Chopra.

Parineeti reminisced, “I used to order coffee for the stars, take care of their interviews… my final film as an intern was Band Baaja Baarat.” She revealed how Aditya Chopra discovered her acting auditions and called her to offer a three-film deal at Yash Raj. “I wondered why he was calling! He told me, ‘Parineeti, I’ll sign you for a three-film deal at Yash Raj.’ I was like, ‘What are you saying?'”

Actress Parineeti Chopra finally made her live singing debut and said that the performance was everything she could wish for. Parineeti took to Instagram, where she shared a motley of pictures giving a glimpse of what her concert looks like. She also shared a video saying that this performance was special because she performed in her own city Mumbai.

Captioning the memories, she wrote: “Andddd it’s done…. I have tears of joy as I type this: My First Ever Live Singing Performance was last night and it was everythinggg I could wish for and more. Thank you all for the love and kindness you all have shown. It means a lot to me.”

It was earlier this month, when Parineeti shared that she is now having two careers – acting and her musical journey.

After she was cremated in the morning hours on Thursday, members of the Hindi film fraternity visited the Chopra mansion in the Juhu-Tara Road area of Mumbai to pay their respects to the departed soul.

Popular Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra has two projects based on real-life stories in the works.

“Chamkila” is a biopic on Punjabi singer-songwriter pop star duo Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur, who shot to fame in the 1980s recording and performing songs that were social commentaries or devotionals, and which became massive hits. The duo was gunned down in Mehsampur village, Punjab, in 1988. Their assassination remains an unsolved mystery and was the subject of Kabir Singh Chowdhry’s 2018 mockumentary “Mehsampur.”

“Chamkila,” produced by Reliance Entertainment, is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, known for “Jab We Met” (2007), “Love Aaj Kal” (2009), “Rockstar” (2011) and “Highway” (2014). Pop star and actor Diljit Dosjanh (Netflix original film “Jogi”) plays Chamkila while Chopra plays Kaur.

“Diljit and I are going to be singing throughout the film. We’re doing like 12-15 songs because it’s a film on music. We’re doing live recordings on set.

Starting tonight, Channel 4 is doing a season of a wide-range of Indian films (with English subtitles), including light-hearted musicals, high-energy action films as well as serious dramas, showing through April and May. To start off, following East Is East, they’re showing Dabanng, an action-comedy which stars Salman Khan as cop Chulbul Pandey, a self-proclaimed ‘half Robin Hood’, who steals from robbers.
