- A young teacher, Emily Bennett, sets out to clear her name after digitally fabricated pornographic photos of her are sent to her students. She soon discovers that this incident is linked to the kidnapping of another young woman and that she is now the kidnapper's next target.—Anonymous
- Emily Bennett is a Baltimore area high school Media Studies teacher. She has entered into a business venture with her boyfriend, Andrew Gray, and Andrew's friend, Justin Reynolds, in the development of teaching software, which could make them all wealthy. Andrew and Justin are working themselves out of a financial hole associated with what was their last failed software venture. They have just inked a deal with Warren Morrow, which requires Andrew and Justin to have a finished product for a trade show in three weeks, the deal pending on that product and the outcome of the show. Emily's life takes a turn for the bad when explicit photos of her are emailed to all the students and staff at her school from an unknown source. Emily vows that the photos are not of her beyond her face being superimposed on the body. What is more troubling is that certain aspects of what is shown in the photos demonstrates that the perpetrator is someone who knows her intimately. Regardless of her principal believing her, Emily is placed on temporary suspension while the case is investigated. The photos also threaten Emily's involvement in the software project as Warren has to answer to his company's shareholders, who may not take too kindly to such scandal. Because it happened at school, the police's initial thought is that it was done by a student, the most likely candidate being Josh Williams, with who Emily had a verbal altercation recently about a school project despite Emily not believing Josh capable in any aspect. As the investigation proceeds, Emily becomes even more troubled when she is provided information that indicates that the perpetrator will most likely take his campaign against her into a more violent realm, and that the issue is more likely associated with the software project than with school, which means that Andrew becomes a prime suspect.—Huggo
