One shower scene in this series shows a split second out of focus, side breast shot of Vic, drying off after a shower. In the final episode, there is short side breast nudity of Vic and Walt while making love. Vic is also shown in revealing bra and panties in several episodes.

A storyline is about prostitution, but there is no nudity shown. Some sexual jokes/innuendos are made. Strip club scene shown a couple of times, women shown dancing sexually in bras and revealing panties. A couple is shown having sex, no nudity but sexual dialogue and noises.

A naked man runs out of a shower to try to evade a policeman. The man's bare backside is visible. His nude backside is shown 4 or 5 times. There is one shot of him from the front with his hand covering his penis.

Violence isn't constant or excessively graphic, but it is common and often bloody. Shootings and beatings occur in every season.

Every episode shows some form of violence.

We see a charred body, people with bloody gunshot Wounds, and we see two horses die in a fire. There is also a woman who cracks her skull by falling onto rocks.

We see severed body parts that are mutilated and very gorey.

A victim is missing a portion of chest showing lungs and other organs including a missing leg with bone sticking out.

Season 4 onwards, there are some f-words but not frequent! Also starting in Season 4, there are occasional profanities: GDs and JC once or twice per episode.

Sheriff Longmire is portrayed as drinking beer to excess, at times.

This show centers around a bar called The Red Pony and most episodes feature drinking beer and hard liquor. There is also drinking at the Sheriff's office and main characters homes as well. The last season has few scenes of heroine and revolves around heroine trafficking.
