Actress Monica Percich was rushed to the emergency room to have her appendix removed only a few days prior to shooting Runways & BunkBeds. Director Axel Harney was forced to have a replacement on standby to play the role of Molly. Monica however pulled through and found a way to play the role of Molly with fresh stitches in place.
Actor/Writer/Director Axel Harney wrote Runways & BunkBeds based on his own previous experience as an international model. He worked world-wide for numerous designers including Georgio Armani, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger, Joseph Aboud, and Gucci.
All four actors playing models (Axel Harney, Monica Percich, Luke Richmond, and Jib Namprachan) all had previous modeling experience.
