In the fantasy sequence with the Celts (or Vikings), Lorna Watson appears as a version of Boudica, a Celtic warrior queen she portrayed in a 2015 episode of Horrible Histories.
There is a short comedic scene with a mention of the Vikings and showing a Viking and it is also the first episode in which Ivan Kaye makes an appearance who is most famous for his role as King Aelle in Vikings (2013) and the only actor of the series who has worked on that show.
