Trivia
A BMC 1100 car is shown in some shots. The model is a mark 2 as the tail lights slant towards the rear window. However, the license plate is a pre-1963 registration ( no year letter) after 1963 the format was ABC 123A. As the mark 1 version didn't appear until 1963 and the mark 2 (this car) it would not have the plate shown.

Goofs
When Sister Boniface is looking at soil samples under the microscope, she removes one sample dish and replaces it with another, but the close up shot of the second sample is exactly the same as the first.

Bundles of fun.

A larger lady, and lonely heart is killed by her gentleman caller, his calling card, a missing jigsaw piece, and a face full of cold cream.

My favourite episode so far, this was intriguing and funny, it felt like a proper old fashioned whodunnit. If you're fans of British crime mysteries, it was similar to an episode of Murder most English, called Lonely Hearts, worth checking out.

Belinda Lang was an absolute joy as Mrs Clam, previously only appearing as a bit part player, she pretty much takes centre stage here, she's forever been a class act.

The most accomplished episode to date, it all felt very natural, with everyone totally settled into their roles. I like that Sister Boniface is almost a secondary character, she doesn't overtake, Watson is terrific though.

8/10.
