Plot
Elias Voorhees (C. J. Graham) is back and has plans for his undead son Jason Voorhees (Jason Brooks) that involve bringing an end to the Jarvis family once and for all.
Cast
Same creators, a few of the first films cast and Friday 13th Thom Matthews makes an appearance.
Verdict
I need to say two things straight out of the gate.
1) Friday the 13th Vengeance (2019) was quite frankly offensive, an absurdly terrible film that was an absolute insult to the fans and I couldn't wash the mental stain it left for weeks afterwards.
2) This is shilled into oblivion, I despise it when people do that. Check the reviews, check the profiles of those saying it's incredible, Jason is "Back" and the suspicious consistent director praise by name.
Right, now I have that out the way let's get to it. I expected more of the same, I expected this to be dire but surprisingly it wasn't and has a fair few bits going for it. Sadly those bits are held back by many of the flaws made in the first film.
Is it loyal to the source material? I suppose.
Is it very gory and has some interesting enough deaths? Sure Is the cinematography better than the last film? Absolutely
But here's the problem, much of the dialogue is juvenile and comes across as if it were written by a high school student, the acting ranges from average down to appalling, some people just shouldn't have been in this film or any film for that matter.
An example of how bad the dialogue is includes a moment where a corpse has donated his "Member" to science and we have a scene where it's removed and put in a jar. I can only assume this was meant to be comedic relief? It was stupid.
Bad writing, bad acting and shilled into next week. This is miles better than the first film but still not something I could confidently recommend to anybody, not even hardcore Friday 13th fans.
Rants
I hate shilling, I mean I really really really hate shilling. Last time I came across shilling this bad was the Fear Footage movies and to be fair that trilogy is on par with the first Vengeance movie, absolutely dire. I mean what is the point? I don't understand. And furthermore how stupid do they think people are? The wording is the same, you can tell it's the same people, they always fawn over the director by name which is very telling, they're always stupidly over the top with their praise and the profiles they come from have no other activity, minimal activity or just other reviews for coincidentally the same directors films. It's embarrassing, stop it.
Breakdown
Some decent deaths A few interesting lore moments Decent enough soundtrack Some very poor acting Terrible dialogue.

I don't know what I expected, I think I assumed the worst but I didn't think it would actually be this bad.
The acting is school nativity play level.
The visuals are bowling shoe ugly.
The script is terrible, it doesn't know if it wants to be super serious or comedic and some of the lines I have to assume were contributions from the writers kid because I struggle to believe that an adult wrote that.
Jason looks awful, when he turns to the side you can see these dreadful oversized plastic teeth that are so far from believable it looks like something out of a Hammer Horror movie.
And then the guy who plays Voorhees dad? Wow, don't ever let him in front of a camera again!

Hardly a love letter to the original Friday films, this badly acted and completely loveless Spin-off. Jason is boring instead of the menacing killing machine we all love. The characters are utterly stupid, and there is not even the slightest trace of suspense to be found. I guess the people that gave this film high ratings, were involved in the making of this film. I give 2 stars only for a few nice kills, and the appereance of Thom Matthews. A sleep inducing mess. Compared to this movie Jason Goes To Hell looks like a masterpiece. Obviously the first part is even worse, so I won't even bother to watch that.
Excellent movie and a dignified entry into the Voorhees universe, even though it's "just" a fan film. The movie picks up right where the first one ended and even though it starts out a bit slow, it pretty soon transforms itself into slay fest -22. Jason kills people in a wide variety of gory ways and he looks fantastic doing it. Hands, machete, axe, scythe and arrows, this killer is no stranger to the art of death and this film really puts his abilities on full display. It is also loaded with guest actors. Some, friday the 13th alumni themselves and others are just various people from the field of entertainment. The FX in this flick, besides being gory as all hell, are slightly above average and did satisfy this old gorehound. If you haven't gotten around to it yet, I strongly suggest that you do see it. Particularly if you are a fan of old "maggothead", low budget gore and a brutal A F killer in a hockeymask. It's an intense ride.

I have to admit that I was somewhat skeptical when I sat down to watch the 2022 movie "Vengeance 2: Bloodlines". But I am huge fan of the "Friday the 13th" movie franchise, so of course I had to sit down and watch this one as I had the opportunity.
And color me impressed. This 2022 movie really surprised me. It felt, looked and sounded like a true "Friday the 13th" movie, you know from around parts VI, VII and VIII era. And those movies are by far the better of the entire franchise. And "Vengeance 2: Bloodlines" felt like it belonged right in there. So thumbs up to the crew involved with the production and creation of this movie.
The storyline, as written by Jason Brooks and Kim Terreson, was entertaining, and again it was straight out of the "Friday the 13th" franchise. The storyline is simplistic and straight forward, and laced with an abundance of Jason Voorhees murder spree scenes, which is the reason for why we love the franchise, isn't it?
The acting in "Vengeance 2: Bloodlines" was good, and Jason Brooks - who wrote, directed and played Jason Voorhees - did a good job at portraying the iconic serial slasher. He had a lot of Kane Hodder's mannerisms nailed down, and while he was good, then he was no Kane Hodder. It is odd why Kane Hodder wasn't a part of this and donned the iconic hockey mask once more. It was a nice treat to see Thom Mathews return to the scene as Tommy Jarvis.
The music in the movie was good, and it was kept in the score similar to that of "Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives". And it worked so marvelously in favor of the tone of the movie.
There is an abundance of brutal killing scenes throughout the course of "Vengeance 2: Bloodlines", and it certainly was sufficient to please a seasoned gorehound such as myself.
Visually then "Vengeance 2: Bloodlines" is good. I like the special effects and make-up. It was clear that it was made by people with a sincere love and admiration of the "Friday the 13th" franchise.
"Vengeance 2: Bloodlines" was an enjoyable and entertaining surprise, and I was really impressed with the production, the feel and sound of this movie. They definitely captured the essence and spirit of the late 1980s "Friday the 13th" franchise.
If you enjoy watching Jason Voorhees on the screen and enjoy the "Friday the 13th" franchise, then you seriously have to sit down and watch director Jason Brooks' 2022 movie "Vengeance 2: Bloodlines".
My rating of "Vengeance 2: Bloodlines" lands on an eight out of ten stars.

This film hits on so many different levels. The way the camera work was done is top notch quality and the expressions displayed from the characters keeps you on the edge of your seat.
If you're a horror fan, Friday the 13th fan or Jason Voorhees fan then this one is for you!
This review is coming from a horror lover and someone who has been in love with the F13 franchise for nearly 30 years of my life.
The cast and characters poured their heart into their roles and you can tell scene by scene as to how important this film was to each of them. You won't be disappointed!
You wanna definitely watch this and dig right in... don't forget your popcorn!

Has everything you want in a slasher film and them some. It has a great cast, some returning and others joining. Even put some hilarious moments in it. The crew is top shelf all the way. All the FX and photography. The set. Incredible all the way! Has some great surprises. The kills are awesome. If like slasher movies. The kill scenes are great. Some will make you say DAMN! That is for sure. I know I did. You could tell everyone was so passionate about creating this film. I like the fact during the credits you could watch things going on behind the scenes. That was great. Definitely a must watch!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this film, good story and great characters, plus good effects for a fan film .cj graham is awesome as Jason's father. I enjoyed it more than the the first film.the body count is high and Jason brooks plays jason very well, there are a lot of good kills in the film, and the effects are a lot better than the recent jeepers creepers film.jason brooks direction is good and I look forward to see what he does next.definitely watch this film you won't be disappointed ,a lot of people slate fan films but until they bring Jason back to the big screen these are the only way to see Jason in new stories thanks to these talented people.
With the tremendous challenges that face indie films, V2:B deserves rewatching much more so than many films on the big streaming platforms. On top of it containing a good balance of action, camp, fun-gore and characters, the tributing in this film to the series will draw you in to wanting to know more about it all. Special mentions: the performances of Kelly Tappan & Morgen Johnson - if the result of their work doesn't make you think 'That role was made for them'... see my opening comments and get back to me. And of course congratz to Jason Brooks and ALL of the VERY large crew and cast. The wrap party must have been a BLAST!

If you are put off of watching this one because of the first movie, don't be! This one is so much better I never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself! This one rivals the Never Hike Alone movies! A certain flashback to one of the actual Paramount movies later on in the movie is PERFECTLY executed!! Both the impeccable job on the costume and the fact that the very star who played the role to begin with having so well-replicated his performance from over 35 years ago make it surreal to watch!! The movie also outstrips any of the official Fridays in terms of brutality, in case that's your thing, besides containing plenty of familiar faces from the Paramount movies, other horror franchises, and even the world of music!
Hollywood are you paying attention! Peter Anthony and Jason Brooks put together a masterpiece. With a low budget they were able to bring former Friday the 13th stars, great story line and kill scenes worth the weight of gold. The last 20 minutes is worth the watch alone. Peter Anthony has gone from fan to Friday the 13th lore. I can only say I hope this isn't the last Friday the 13th he makes. Thank you for keeping the franchise alive! They say Jason never dies, but he was dormant. Hollywood should take note on what works and what doesn't. A fan with a goal can turn a movie into gold! Much thanks again to Peter Anthony and Jason Brooks. Future stars for sure!

Absolutely love this movie. The immortal Jason Brooks put on yet another perfect performance of Jason Voorhees. An absolute blood bath from start to finish. Tons of new kills for Jason. A great story line as well with CJ Graham playing Elias. If u love blood and guts this a must watch for u. I really did love all the new ways for Jason to kill. Jason Brooks has officially become my 2nd favorite Jason of all time behind the one and only Kane Hodder. He has really mastered all the moves and attitude of Jason. Like I said tho this is a must watch for any horror fan looking for a great movie. Loved it.
These films just keep getting greater and greater! The immortal jason brooks and Peter Anthony are on god mode! Answering all the what ifs and what happens and all the other questions that the original series left unanswered! Just brutal! Gore gore and more gore! The cheese comedy is present! Just perfect! You have to check out Roseblood as well! If people pass on these films or have any negative comments then I'm sure they put there tampon in with a nerf gun! Direct quote!!! They keep making them and I stay backing and supporting them! Guys thank you for everything you do and keep up the fantastic work!!
Firstly I want to make clear that I was involved in the making of this film, but that regardless, my opinion is only my own to give and is not influenced by anyone else. This movie is without a shadow of a doubt made (for free to watch) as a pure love letter to 80s horror and the Friday franchise. If you like amazing fx, fun and unique characters, lore, action, brutal kills, classic horror cheese, and a whole bunch of badass Jason moments, then you should at least find something in here to love. Whether you want a good story, violence, or a whole slew of returning alumni and new celebrity faces to the franchise, I don't feel like it's one that will disappoint (I mean it is FREE right?). So if you have a couple hours to spare, and wanna support indie filmmaking backed by a team of horror lovers, then check out Vengeance 2: Bloodlines today! Cheers!

Friday the 13th Vengeance Part 2 is a wild ride from beginning to end. The movie starts and doesn't stop, providing some amazing kills, epic action, and some really well written comedy. There are so many great things I could say.
Ultimately, I think most fans are going to really enjoy this movie and what it brings to the pantheon of amazing fan films that already exist for F13.
Jason Brooks stands out amazingly as Jason Voorhees just as he did for Vengeance part 1 and Roseblood. I hope one day he returns to the role! He seems to love doing it!
Overall, if you're a fan of Friday the 13th and know about it's fan film culture, I think you're gonna love this one!
There's also some really great surprises that dialed everything up to 11!

I pride myself on being a horror fan. Even more so, a Friday the 13th fan. I'm my opinion, this film should be made Cannon. The acting, the story, the kills, the cameos, the nods to other films in the franchise and outside the franchise goes to show you how much care was taken in making this film. As an actor myself, I would "kill" to be in one of Jason Brooke's films...lol! I truly do not have enough good things to say about the film. Seeing how long it has been since the owners of Friday the 13th have been in court over the rights, we have turned to projects like this for our fill of Jason Voorhees goodness. This tops them all.

The look is great. The sound and music is great. The cast is wonderful and the story is inventive. One or two small knit picks, but overall this was a wonderful additional to Friday the 13th. CJ Graham, Darcy Demoss, Tom McLoughlin, Thom Mathews all Part VI alumni returning to be a part of this. A few other notables as well. Jason Brooks wrote a fantastic script and really showed his abilities as a director AND he played Jason Voorhees! I would trust these people with any future project. What a great ride! It did not feel like nearly two hours. I also can't wait to have the DVD as part of my collection. This will be a multiple watch film for me.
Wow, Just...WOW! We don't need Paramount or New line cinema or whoever the hell owns the rights to the Friday the 13:th franchise. You don't need official sequels when
you get movies like these. It's made by fans for fans.
When I saw that this movie was over 1h and 45 min I just thought "YES, I'm gonna be entertained for almost 2 hours" and was I ever. I loved the movie. I've been a hardcore horror movie addict for as long as I can remember and this is now one of my favourite slashers.
If I didn't know that this was a fan made movie I'd probably think that this was an official release. If you love Friday the 13th you must see this! It's a gorefest and I hope that I'll never ever get caught in a traffic jam! I hope these guys will make more Friday the 13th movies.

I just watched Friday The 13th Vengeance 2, and it was spectacular. The kills were very, very gory and violent and the acting and the Special FX were spot on. And the best part, It came out just in time for Halloween. I love the Friday The 13th Movies, But this is by far "my second" favorite Friday fan film that I ever seen. My first favorite will probably be Never Hike Alone 2 when it comes out this month, but that will depend on how good that fan film will be. But back to what I was saying. This fan film is by far awesome!!. I highly recommend that you watch this fan film It is "That" good. It's on YouTube for free, so you can watch it there.
