I have just realised that The Brack Report is a literal title. Brack is going to go and talk to various energy experts and discuss alternative energy sources.
I am sure it would had been cheaper to hire James Burke for a documentary series.
This episode is looking at coal and how it could be made more efficient. Brack talks to Dr Smitherson who was developing more efficient coal processing for Harland but Harland is placing his bets on Methanol for energy storage.
Brack again comes across as naive. He left his old company as he did not trust them. Did he ever wonder if private enterprise would be any less manipulative.
Brack might be clever but he is also a terrible team player. In fact I cannot see how he can work with anyone. A loose cannon as Dr Smitherson discovers.
