ABC's penchant for making pretty disgraceful women look ultimately honorable is kind of their thing, y'know? The network that peddles directly to that unsatisfied madam looking to escape life's doldrums with her next great secret romp has a brand new season of Desperate Housewives for you to devour, except all the actors and writers and producers have been changed, and the name's different, and it will sit in a completely different timeslot, but other than that, it's basically the same!
Mistresses will perhaps best be known for returning Alyssa Milano (Charmed) back to television glory, but she's far from alone: her foursome of deceptive women also include Yunjin Kim (Lost), Rochelle Aytes (White Chicks), and Jes Macallan (Shameless, Justified) as they frolic around town in the pants of men with varying degrees of unavailability. Watch the trailer below:
Mistresses will debut on Monday, June 3rd at 10pm Est on ABC.

Actress Alyssa Milano is leading the cast of Mistresses for ABC. Today we can reveal a first look at the upcoming series. Is this one about to become your new guilty pleasure?
The summer flirtation will begin at ABC on June 3rd. The soapy drama series stars Milano, Jes Macallan, Rochelle Aytes and Yunjin Kim as four friends who are involved in “illicit and complex relationships”.
I see why ABC would order up 12 episodes and a pilot of Mistresses. It’s no secret that we love our prime time soaps. From Dallas to Desperate Housewives, tangled affairs are always worth a thrill. Right now one soapy drama in particular has my full attention, and that one is another ABC offering, the Kerry Washington starrer, Scandal. Of course, what makes Scandal unique is the divine political angle and a set up that makes it almost procedural in nature. The high priced...

ABC's upcoming midseason series "Mistresses" had two messages to deliver to the press at the TCA 2013 Winter Press Tour: The show will be different from its BBC inspiration and it will be sexy. Very sexy.
"Tonally the show is different from the BBC version," star Alyssa Milano says. "There's a lightness and a fun to what we try to do that's different."
"The BBC format happened at a much slower pace," executive producer Rina Mimoun ("Everwood") adds. "We took a lot of what they had and front-loaded our show with that. We had to run in a whole other direction because we had to make a lot more episodes."
Executive producer Bob Sertner ("Revenge") explains the decision to deviate from the original series was only logical: "We always said from the very beginning a show like this wouldn't be very fun to watch if you could go online and find out where it was heading.

Based on the U.K. series of the same name, ABC's racy new show "Mistresses" starring Alyssa Milano is set for a May 2013 premiere. But after seeing the new preview, it's going to be hard to wait a year to watch what happens.
Milano plays successful career woman, Savi, who's trying to advance her professional life and start a family with her hot husband Harry (Brett Tucker). The show follows the lives of Savi; her single little sister, Josselyn (Jes Macallan); their widowed best friend, April (Rochelle Aytes); and friend Karen (Yunjin Kim), a therapist who hooked up with one of her patients.
Looks saucy and like perfect summer viewing -- but we really don't want to wait till next summer to see it. In the meantime, we've always got the BBC version on Netflix.
What do you think, Zappers? Worth tuning in?...

Less than one year after giving birth to her son Milo, Alyssa Milano is getting back in the acting game with a new ABC pilot called Mistresses.
Alyssa will play Savannah, a married attorney who spends all her time at work -- alongside her very sexy business partner. And judging from the title, someone is gonna be steppin' out.
Joining her on the series, which revolves around four women in similar extra-martial situations, are Lost's Yunjin Kim, Rochelle Aytes and Jes Macallan.
If the show goes to series, it would be the first time since May 2001 that all the original Charmed stars were on TV at the same time, as Holly Marie Combs is currently playing Ella Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars and Shannen Says, Doherty's upcoming reality show, will most likely see a second season.
