When Father McNally first hits Todd, Todd's pants are grass stained. In the next sequence, the stains are gone, but they reappear eventually.

When Todd and Donny are visiting Mary McGarricle in prison, her orange jumpsuit goes from buttoned to unbuttoned, to buttoned again until she unbuttons it.

After Grandma finds all of the tissues on Donny's bed, Todd goes into the bathroom to wash his hands. When Todd comes out of the bathroom, the light is on, but when Donny says the line about "La Vida Loca", the light is off.

Toward the end of the movie, after Vanilla Ice and Donny tumble down a sand dune, they end up at a lemonade stand. In the background, two women are heading toward them. In the next camera shot, they are replaced by a man and a woman in a red top.

When everyone is visiting the church, Chad is in his USMC uniform with the correct PFC rank insignia on his sleeves. For a brief second, he is seen with a Corporal's insignia which switches back to PFC in the next shot.

When Chad first meets Todd, he threatens to put his service revolver up Todd's "poop shoot" and "empty the clip." Not only are Marines not issued revolvers as their service weapon, revolvers do not have clips for ammunition.

The Boston Marathon is run on the 3rd Monday in April, not Memorial Day weekend, which is the end of May.

(at around 1hr 22 mins) When Donny and Mary McGarricle are fingering on the glass, the top of the boom mic momentarily enters the shot. As it turns out, this is actually the microphone from the TV crew.

Although Donny is single, he has a wedding ring mark on his finger; this is most noticeable during the hug after the bachelor party.

In the courtroom, Donny gets punched in the face by his father, who is voiced by Blake Clark even though only his arm is seen.

In a traditional wedding typically the groom is on the right hand side of the wedding officiant and the bride is to the left. In the movie they had her on the right.

In the high school flashback scene (set in 1984), the teenage character of Donny is seen carrying around an "ALF" lunch box. ALF (1986) premiered in 1986.

When Jamie asks Todd what 452 x 77 is, he gives the answer 84304. The actual answer is 34804.

Todd tells Donny he can't come down until he puts on a tie. Donny says he hasn't worn a tie since his mom's funeral when he was 3. In the court room scene though, young Donny is wearing a tie for the trial.

When Donny is scaling the hotel to Jamie's room, he opens a beer and holds it in his right hand. In the next shot, the beer is gone, and the two ice cream comes are both in his right hand.
