Goofs

In Season 3, Tara became pregnant with Thomas when Abel was 8 or 9 months old, which means Abel must have been about 18 months old when Thomas was born. Thomas barely ages throughout the rest of the show, while Abel keeps growing. At the end of Season 7 Abel is 5, and Thomas is still just a baby of maybe a year old. By that time, Thomas had to be 3 at the very least.

the Landrover driven by the PSNI/RUC in the episodes set in Northern Ireland are shown to be canvas side. Due to the 20 years of political unrest in the country, all Police vehicles are Armour plated.

Throughout the series, several officers of the San Joaquin Sheriffs Office are referred to as "Sheriffs" by criminal justice personnel and others throughout the series. They should actually be referred to as "Deputy". A Sheriff is a single individual that is elected by a governing body and has deputies that carry out law enforcement duties. When Lt Roosevelt and Lt Jarry refer to themselves as "Sheriff", it is an obvious mistake.

During several scenes in Season 3 which supposedly take place in Ireland, American versions of cars are seen (e.g. the dark Mercedes or the parking lot in the background across from the SOA Belfast chapter), giving away, that the filming took place in USA.

The show is set in a fictional San Joaquin County city, but all the Teller-Morrow Automotive tow trucks have a 925 area code. None of San Joaquin County is covered by the 925 area code, its neighbor Contra Costa County is.
