Slave Dolls 2

I never drank the Kool Aid that made folks elevate Graham Travis to that dreaded "visionary" status on the basis of his two Elegant Angel hits "Wasteland" and "Portrait of a Call Girl". But I doubt anyone other than those industry bodies like AVN (of course a best this-or-that nomination was awarded) could defend his earlier junker "Slave Dolls 2" for the Patrick Collins gonzo label.

This is assembly line junk, pretending to be fetish content but far removed from what fans of bondage/fetish videos demand. Basically it consists of rounding up the usual subjects of pretty porno femmes and currently reigning studs, set them loose in nondescript industrial backdrops (looking like empty warehouses or parking garages) and watch them go through the motion of domination/submission tinged humping.

Result lacks style, ideas, creativity and anything else other than generic XXX action. Every lady presented here has done maybe hundreds of better scenes, and that's what this is - a collection of scenes, not a real feature. It's especially disheartening to see Katsumi/Katsuni, Tiffany Mynx, the underrated Venus and Kimberly Kane going through the motions.

The illusion of forced sex, Kane wearing a military cap, chains and tied-up women plus other paraphernalia like an X-mount contraption do not disguise the absence of tangible content. When Manuel Ferrara, Steven St. Croix and their brethren finish their money shots and wander off, we're left merely with a mess that needs cleaning up, and no hint that Mr. Travis would go on to redeem himself in narrative XXX cinema.
