- TriviaThe unseen Vice President is never named, but places the date of this adventure to be sometime between March 1869 and November 1875. In President Grant's first term (1869-1873), this second-highest office was held by Schuyler "the Smiler" Colfax, who was not renominated due to his questionable business associations. His place was taken by Henry Wilson, who served until his death from a stroke on November 22, 1875. The United States had no Vice President for the final 15 months and a few weeks of Grant's term, which ended March 4, 1877.
- GoofsThe Secretary of State is constantly being mentioned as the immediate successor to the United States Presidency after the President and Vice-President. This is incorrect at the time of the events in this episode. In the 1870s, succession was determined by the Presidential Succession Act of 1792, in which the Senate president pro tempore was next in line after the vice president to succeed to the presidency, followed by the Speaker of the House. From 1886 to 1947 the Secretary of State was second in line after the Vice President.

The first episode of season 2 i really liked. Because, i think it had a good story, twists and some fight scenes. I was surprised by all the twists and turns in this episode. This is the first episode i have seen that used so many twists. I like that.I hope as i continue to watch the rest of the episodes of season, that they are as great as this episode.
One thing i didn't like about this episode, was that some of the punches and kicks done by Robert Conrad didn't look so convincing. I have noticed that several times before in other episodes. What i mean by unconvincing, is that the punches Conrad deliver's didn't always seem like they connect to the bad guy. I noticed the same thing in lack of power in some punches and kicks he did. I personally think when they saw the footage, they should have done a new take so it look's better and convincing. But, it is too late now. Over 30 years ago since it was made. All in all, i recommend this episode.
