Trivia
At the Halloween party, Judge Bone (played by Ray Walston) is wearing toy antennae on his head. This is a subtle tribute to Walston's famous '60s television show My Favorite Martian (1963), in which he played a Martian with antennae that would emerge from his head whenever he was about to disappear.

Goofs
Carter suggests Rosemary's husband might have murdered her for the insurance payout. Insurance doesn't pay in cases of suicide.

A Rose for Emily Revisited

This is a Halloween episode and it's not bad. A ten year old case is revisited where a beautiful woman leaped from a window. It was ruled a suicide but there are questions. Even though there is some decent evidence people begin to stand in the way, including the continuing idiot of a mayor. I was getting down on the series but this worked pretty well. I also enjoyed a secondary plot where pranksters are perpetrating a cruel joke.
