The title refers to the fact that Mrs. Muir becomes ill and the captain provides his medicine. Mrs. Muir then dreams about being at a dance or "ball" with the captain. (it has nothing to do with exercise equipment.)

Goofs
Carolyn dreams she's at a ball with the Captain where no one can see her but him. They dance, yet no one is bothered at seeing what should be the Captain dancing by himself.

Beautiful Episode

This is one of the best episodes of TGaMM and the music from the waltz scene is from the Dragonwyck movie of 1946. The music is the After Dinner waltz written by Alfred Newman. Great music!
