    Overcoming Interruptions

Captain Gregg (Edward Mulhare) and Mrs. Muir's (Hope Lange) plans for a relaxing, romantic evening with a glass of Madeira is constantly interrupted. A stickler for punctuality, the Captain is upset when she is late for their next Madeira date. She is upset that he can't see the reasons she was late was unavoidable and an argument ensues. They both begin seeing perspective, however. Ida Lupino's final directoral effort.
