      In the episode "New Best Friend" from season 2 when the characters Bettina and Max were first introduced, they had a baby boy. Throughout the episode the baby was always referred to as 'he'. In the 2004 special "White Box", the child had grown up enough to sign itself up for boarding school, but the child was always referred to as "she" in the "White Box" episode.
