Episode #2.02 "Death" was originally meant to air 4th in the series, however was bumped to 2nd by the BBC when "Hospital" (#2.01) didn't turn in the ratings they were expecting. Episode #2.04 "New Best Friend", was meant to air 2nd in the series. Episode #2.03 "Morroco", was meant to air 5th in the series, but was bumped up when the BBC changed the order of the episodes at last notice. The majority of filming was done in Morocco within 3 days. The cast and crew stayed in what was referred to as "the worst hotel north of the equator!" The rest was filmed in a sound studio in Britain. Episode #2.05 "Poor" was meant to air 3rd.

Goofs
Before Patsy coughs up the tube that is stuck in her throat, Joanna Lumley can be seen retrieving the tube from her hair where it was hidden to give the illusion that it was removed from her throat.

Quotes
Eddie: You only work in a shop you know, you can drop the attitude.

Alternate versions
When Edina is having a midnight snack, she quotes lyrics from the Madonna song "Like a Prayer" to Saffy. This scene was included on the initial TV broadcast of the show and VHS release, but has been removed from many DVD versions of the series due to copyright problems.

Inappropriately hilarious episode

Edina's father passes away.

This is a darkly humorous episode with some great Eddie and Patsy character moments.

The plot unfolds in a series of scenes following the bereavement. Edina with zero tact blunders through every interaction with family members and friends and it is funny in a very inappropriate way.

This contains several memorable scenes and it's hard to decide which one I like the most, but the coffin lying amongst Edina's latest fad art collection is a good one and of course the ending is spectacular.

Jennifer Saunders is brilliant and Joanna Lumley is almost on par.

For me it's an 8.5/10.
