On December 15, the first season of Such Brave Girls will arrive. The sitcom follows a dysfunctional family – and we mean dysfunctional! – that includes real-life sisters Kat Sadler and Lizzie Davidson. British comedian Sadler has previously written for The News Quiz, Hypothetical, and Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable, but this is her first big TV project. “Everything we joke about in the show is from a place of lived experience,” she told Funny Women. “I wish I could say this is a heart-warming show about overcoming trauma, but that would be a lie. It’s about three toxic, damaged egomaniacs manipulating the world and each other for their own personal gain, vengeance and glory…just like in Little Women.” Sounds good!

Saban Films has acquired U.S. rights to “Knox Goes Away,” a thriller about a contract killer with dementia that was directed by and stars Michael Keaton. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last September. Saban Films plans to release the movie theatrically in the first quarter of 2024.

In addition to Keaton, the film stars Oscar winners Al Pacino and Marcia Gay Harden, as well as James Marsden, Suzy Nakamura, John Hoogenakker, Joanna Kulig, Ray McKinnon and Lela Loren. “Knox Goes Away was written by Gregory Poirier, the screenwriter of “National Treasure: Book of Secrets.” Keaton produced the movie alongside Brookstreet’s Trevor Matthews and Nick Gordon and Sugar23’s Michael Sugar and Ashley Zalta.

It looks like the "National Treasure" universe wasn't quite ready to expand. Deadline is reporting that the Disney+ spin-off series "National Treasure: Edge of History" has been cancelled after just one season. Tignhari’s voice actor in Genshin Impact has been recast, and a new name to give the character life has officially been revealed. Marlowe has a packed and star-studded cast. Detective Knight: Independence completes the trilogy begun in Detective Knight: Rogue and continued in Detective Knight: Redemption. Although not the last of his films to be released, Assassin is slated for release in March, these were the last ones Bruce Willis made before announcing his retirement. So in a sense, it also concludes its star’s career.

The film opens with a bank robbery shot from the Pov of the robbers making it look like a first-person shooter, be sure to get the tie-in edition of Bank Robber Simulator at your local Gamestop. The robbery comes to a bloody end with Detective Knight (Bruce Willis) shooting the last of the gang while he holds a woman hostage.
