Colombia's northernmost peninsula, Guajira is a desert, not the jungle backdrop used to describe the smuggler's airplane. This backdrop would most likely fit the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, where the "Santa Marta Gold" marijuana is produced.

The building Neptune and his women enter when they are supposedly arriving at Mansion is not Mansion, which has a completely different entrance.
During the film's primary shootout, the police bring in snipers, who are located in elevated positions above where the gun battle occurs. Despite having an excellent and unencumbered view and no chance of hitting Crockett or Tubbs, the snipers fire only twice, then stop shooting even when the gun battle looks to be turning against the police.
When Isabella and Jesus discuss what to do with Crockett and Tubbs, they speak in English. Both are Spanish speakers, and it's not clear why they don't converse in their common native tongue. It was probably filmed in English to make things easier on the audience.
In the final shootout, Gina gives Zito the green light to move to take cover behind some large wheels. But he walks to safety passing the front of the car where the firepower is, instead of round the back.
