Sex & Nudity

None

Very brief sexual references most kids would not understand. ( e.g. One character claims they were fired for 'messing around' with the bosses daughter. ) Some kissing. A character pulls their pants down and shows his underwear. A painter paints a nude woman, but sensitive bits are obscured by props.
When Linguini tells Colette "I have this tiny, little...," her eyes quickly dart down and back up.
I think most people miss this bit when Remmy looks for food after being in the sewer, he looks through 2 holes. One has a painter who paints nude women and has paintings if nude women all over the walls. The other hole is to lovers passionately making out after firing a gun shot. If you have an observant kid they will notice this. I know I did as a kid. Just keep this in mind. Further, I think it's a fantastic movie.

Violence & Gore

A rat is exploring the kitchen and is trying to avoid the fire under the stove and getting put in the oven along with some type of food. He is okay after that.
Some Explosions.
A woman almost threatens a man with pepper spray.
During Linguini's first day, Remy crawls all over his body and bites him.
The head chef threatens to have a young man "drawn and quartered" for ruining their soup.
A woman with a shotgun shoots repeatedly at two rats, many holes are blown in the house and furniture, the ceiling collapses and a huge number of rats pours out; the rats scurry and run, the woman follows the rats and continues shooting at them, the rats sail away on small makeshift boats, and one rat is separated from the others.
A woman aims a gun at a man, the man grabs the woman's arm, they struggle and the gun fires, but no one is struck.
While hiding under a young man's shirt a rat scratches and bites him repeatedly; the man swats at it and thrashes around (we see red slash marks on his chest and abdomen later).
A store window has a display with many rats whose heads are stuck in traps, and other rat killing items including poisons. A rat is trapped in a cage-like trap (it is not injured) and locked in the trunk of a car.
Two men are bound and gagged and locked in a food pantry by rats.

Profanity

A chef says "welcome to hell."
A use of "bloody."
At least one use of "hell" respectively.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

There are a few scenes with people drinking wine since this movie takes place in a French gourmet restaurant.
In one scene, Linguini is talking to Skinner and drinks all the wine, and you can tell he is getting drunk.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

In a scene, Linguini has a nightmare: when he takes the order of Anton Ego about what he wants to eat, he says that he want his heart roasted on a spit (doing this with a very feral look on his face, including deranged-looking eyes and a disturbing smile) before laughing creepily as Linguini watches in horror before it's all revealed to be just a nightmare.
2 rats are struck by lightning and fall from the roof of a house.
Use of poison gas/rat poison may gross out some viewers.
Collette puts 2 knifes on linguini's sleeve, almost stabbing him.
Horst holds up his thumb, claiming he once killed a man with it.
During the roof top scene, there is a woman being abusive to her boyfriend with a gun, the bullet almost hit Remy then later shows that they stopped fighting. (This may be sad for anyone who experienced abuse)
Anton Ego can be terrifying with the way he smiles and the background turning dark and gloomy.
There is a near drowning scene while Remy is in the sewer. Various instruments for killing rats are shown. Dead rats are shown in a store window.
