When John is stabbed he is quite obviously stabbed in the chest yet in the next scene his wound is on his arm.

The position of Jake's vest strap looks different from when viewed through the door peephole, to when he enters the apartment a few seconds later.

The shark portrayed in the film is supposedly a Bull Shark yet it is quite clearly a Great White and the tooth John throws into the water at the end belongs to neither species and has more in common with that of the Blue or Tiger Shark.

Though the movie is set in Louisiana, the lifeguard at the lake wears a red "Vodacom" swimsuit. Vodacom is a South African cellular provider, clearly giving away the filming location.

When Emery says that there is only one type of shark that can swim in both saltwater and freshwater he is wrong. There are in fact several euhaline species, including bull sharks and all species of the genus glyphis. Some other non shark elsmobranchs can also access freshwater
