It’s no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been trying to rebrand and repair their images since the latter part of last year. But now those efforts might not mean much as the duchess is again being called out for mistreating staffers.
The two were also dealt a blow when some of their Montecito neighbors publicly spoke out about why the prince and former Suits star aren’t popular in their town. Now, according to an expose in Vanity Fair, some fellow residents have labeled the Sussexes as “local villains” and there’s a reason for that.
Read on to find out why.

Warning: This article contains Spoilers for Xo, Kitty season 2!
To All The Boys’ main character, Lara Jean Song-Covey, doesn’t appear in Xo, Kitty season 2, raising questions about why others showed up instead of her. Almost two years after the first season released on Netflix, Xo, Kitty season 2 is finally out, much to the delight of fans. Kitty Song-Covey returns to the Korean Independent School of Seoul alongside the other Xo, Kitty characters, with the titular lead embarking on romances and learning more about her family.
With the season 2 trailer revealing a Peter Kavinksy cameo, To All The Boys fans might have expected Lara Jean Song-Covey to appear. After all, there isn’t an obvious reason why Peter would have come to Korea without his girlfriend. However, the middle sister doesn’t appear in the sophomore outing of the To All The Boys TV spinoff, but this fits within the established narrative.

It is no secret that Wicked has an incredible cast of stars, yet there is one element to these actors that makes them (and the movie) even better. After premiering at the end of November 2024, Wicked has quickly become one of the most popular and highest-grossing movies of the year. Based on a novel by Gregory Maguire and a Broadway musical, Wicked is a half-prequel, half-spinoff to the classic story of The Wizard of Oz. In Maguire's version, the Wicked Witch of the West is a young woman named Elphaba who quickly goes from outcast to villain.
With such a big and complex IP, Wicked had to make sure it had plenty of beloved and talented celebrities to take on its important roles, from Elphaba to Glinda. Furthermore, these big-name actors inevitably helped Wicked to gain more popularity, as those who weren't familiar with the story were still intrigued by...

Bill Karn’s Door-to-Door Maniac was originally released as Five Minutes to Live in 1961, then re-released under the new title in 1966 by American International Pictures with some added salacious content and an altered ending. Either way, what you get is a low-budget heist film that boasts a cast packed with seasoned character actors, some outlandish plot elements, and an absolutely feral performance from country music star Johnny Cash as career criminal Johnny Cabot. The zesty melodramatic script was written by actress Cay Forrester, who plays beleaguered housewife Nancy Wilson.
In true noir fashion, Door-to-Door Maniac is related in flashback. Seated in a darkened room surrounded by shadowy figures, Fred Dorella (Vic Tayback) describes how his novel idea for a bank robbery went awry. Fred’s plan involves Johnny holding Nancy hostage in her own home, forcing her husband, Ken (Donald Woods), a bank VP, to oversee Fred’s substantial cash withdrawal from the bank vault.

Codename: Kids Next Door deserves a sequel that follows up on the creator's ideas for a follow-up series. The Galactic Kids Next Door would be a dark follow-up with global stakes and a major role reversal. Modern updates and turning Numbuh One as a complex villain could bring back the beloved Cartoon Network series.
One of Cartoon Network's most entertaining original shows, Codename: Kids Next Door, deserves a follow-up sixteen years after it concluded, and it already has the perfect set up. Cartoon Network has been behind many of animation's most memorable creations, with shows like Adventure Time and Steven Universe expanding beyond their original runs to incorporate spin-offs and sequel shows. Reboots of properties like The Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10 have been produced, but one of the best candidates for a follow-up only remains a possibility. However, the show's creator has teased what a sequel would be like if it were produced.

Fifty years ago, Bob Dylan reunited with the Band for an arena tour where they performed 40 shows in just 42 days, often playing two gigs a night. The double live LP Before The Flood featured recordings from their concerts in New York and Los Angeles, but that represented just a tiny fraction of what they captured on tape throughout the run.
The rest is finally coming out September 20 on the 27-disc, 431-track box set Bob Dylan—The 1974 Live Recordings. It features newly mixed recordings of Dylan’s complete set at 27 concerts,...

Definitely a treat of completists, “Yellow Door: '90s Lo-fi Film Club” starts by mentioning Bong Joon-ho's previously unknown first film, a stop-motion animated short titled “Looking for Paradise” that he made in his home basement in 1992, before it dwells in the history of the particular club, which, apart from Bong, also had Choi Jong-tae translation of English books about cinema, being among the most interesting and entertaining aspects of the narrative.
Bong Joon-ho emerges as the protagonist, with him having the most screening time, while the occasionally contradictory testaments about the past, by the people participating in the documentary, induce the film with the “Rashomon” effect, as Bong himself mentions at some point. The changing of offices, the actual yellow door, the upscaling of the club, and Bong's proceedings during his time there take a large part of the documentary. Lastly, the current lives of the people talking...

Sylvester Stallone moving away from recent franchises, like The Exependables, makes two major sequels way more likely. Stallone's absence from Creed 3 doesn't mean he won't return for Creed 4 or Rocky 7 in the future. The actor's now-open schedule could also allow for the making of Rambo 6, though his age poses an challenge.
Sylvester Stallone appears to be having franchise problems as of late, and while his departures from certain projects will come as a disappointment to fans, they make two sequels far more likely. Stallone's best movies include a number of iconic action flicks, many of which are part of larger franchises. Stallone has built a career on such projects, but recently, he seems to be stepping back from all that. Given Stallone's current approach to franchises, viewers are left to wonder what's next for the 77-year-old actor.

Many of you may remember Director’s Company, a Japanese production company from 1982-1992 that was made up of many legends of Japanese cinema including Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Sogo Ishii, Shinji Somai, and others.
They made many amazing Japanese films but also broke ground for genre cinema in Japan including the cult classic Evil Dead Trap. Before Evil Dead Trap they made the first Giallo film in Japan… Door. Interestingly, Kiyoshi Kurosawa directed the film’s sequel!
Halloween is almost here and Screambox‘s October has been jam-packed,...
In the film…
“A lonely housewife is held hostage in her own apartment by an increasingly deranged door-to-door salesman in this forgotten home invasion masterpiece.”

EbonyLife CEO Mo Abudu has called out TV’s gatekeepers, saying they must stop the excuses and begin to order African show with global budgets.
In a keynote interview at Mipcom Cannes this morning, Abudu argued commissioners needed to order more programs with Black or African narratives, and that their budgets need to begin to mirror those of big-ticket titles such as Netflix’s Stranger Things.
Her company has development deals in place with the likes of BBC Studios, Netflix, AMC and Idris Elba’s Green Door Pictures, but Abudu said content commissioners remain reticent to order Black or African shows en masse. “I continue to see very little on TV for me as a woman of color. One wonders why,” she said.
“Look at the pyramid of local content versus global content: Where are African or black shows sitting? Probably at the bottom,” she continued. “How many Black or African global shows are there,...

Quick Links Best Weapons & Items to Fight The Door Guardian How to Defeat The Door Guardian
Many bosses in Lies of P are large, frenzied puppet automatons that rage across the city of Krat, but the Door Guardian represents a mutated human transformed by the Petrification Curse that you have to beat. The hulking form of this enemy wields a massive crystal in one of its hands, along with several powerful lightning attacks. The Door Guardian, thankfully, has some apparent weaknesses that you can target to gain an advantage.
The Door Guardian is not an optional boss but a direct obstacle as you approach the Arche Abbey Entrance. Similar to the Scrapped Watchman fight in Lies of P, you might want to wear gear that resists Electric damage to have some protection against the Guardian's attacks. Make sure to use your collected Ergo or Quartz to level up and purchase...

Netflix has a treat in store for superfans of Korean cinema. The streamer dropped the first trailer Tuesday for the upcoming documentary Yellow Door: 90s Lo-fi Film Club, described as “a cinematic ode to the golden era of Korean cinephilia.” (Watch the trailer below.)
Directed by Lee Hyuk-rae, the new documentary takes viewers back to Seoul in the 1990s, when film clubs were exploding on Korean college campuses, providing young students with a creative outlet and a platform to study the art of cinema. Much of today’s global boom in Korean popular culture can be traced back to this formative, freewheeling period. The country had just emerged from the trauma of the student pro-democracy protests of the 1980s — and their often brutal suppression by the former authoritarian government — but the 1990s became a dawning, carefree era of greater freedom and cultural exploration among the country’s youth.
