Now mind you, I had to watch this for work, not because I wanted to, so maybe it would be more interesting if you were really into these types of movies, which are basically the visual equivalent of cheap romance novels. But the plot is contrived and I found many of the lines of dialogue sickening. Our heroine can't do much with them, and yet, the fault is partly hers. Marc Singer, our hero, does a fabulous job, considering the material he's been given and the performance he's playing opposite. I wasn't familiar with him before this (I hear from my boyfriend that he's been in V and Beastmaster), but I'm impressed with the fact that he gave 100% to a movie that deserved literally a fraction of that. Good for him and he deserves better.
