This silent 10-minute short from Mexico about a young boy and his efforts to capture a plane's reflection in a water puddle effectively conveys the joys and wonder that one feels as a child. All to often that sheer wonder of life can be jaded by life's harsh realities and one can only hope to go back to that simpler time in life. This is one of the best shorts I've seen for that reason. This short has universal appeal and can be enjoyed by pretty much everyone. From the young to the merely young-at-heart. I'm searching for a copy of the writers' first full length movie "Zurdo" hoping they can recapture the magic that they have shown here.
