Get ready for a Reba reunion on the new comedy Happy’s Place that should enthrall fans!
Reba McEntire is the rare case of a performer just as famous for TV shows as the world of country music. After establishing herself as one of the biggest country music stars ever with more number-one hits and awards than can be counted, McEntire decided to give TV a try in 2001 with the WB comedy Reba.
She played Reba Hart, a Houston native who’s thrown when, during a counseling session, she learns her husband Brock (Christopher Rich) has gotten his nutty dental assistant Barbara Jean (Melissa Peterman) pregnant. Before she can recover from that, Reba learns her daughter Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia) is pregnant by her dimwitted jock boyfriend Van (Steve Howey). Reba has to handle this strange new family dynamic, not helped by how Barbara Jean thinks they’re friends.

When you’re a teenager, every little crisis feels like the end of the world. And when you’re a teen TV junkie, every cancellation can be just as crushing.
For every One Tree Hill and Beverly Hills, 90210 — two shows that ran long enough to see their high school-aged characters grow into successful, shark-jumping adults — there are countless teen dramas that were tragically (criminally, even!) robbed of that same opportunity. And since you’re probably running out of old shows to binge at this juncture in your quarantine, TVLine has assembled a handy guide to some teen treasures worth excavating.

On May 22, 2002, Felicity ended its four-year run on the now-defunct WB network, a channel hailed for its knack for breeding nuanced teen dramas in the late ‘90s and early aughts. The one-hour series, which debuted four years earlier in the fall of 1998, was an introspective and melancholic take on the trials and tribulations of Felicity Porter (Keri Russell), a wide-eyed, curly-haired California girl who impulsively follows her crush, sensitive jock Ben Covington (Scott Speedman), to the hustle and bustle of New York City for college.
Coincidentally premiering the same year as Sex and the City, another female-driven coming-of-age story set in Manhattan, and fielding welcomed comparisons to Ally McBeal, a popular dramedy at the time, Felicity shied away from the glitz and glamour of living in the big city -- instead focusing on the often uncomfortable and agonizing journey of being a young woman searching for her place and purpose in the world.

It’s been 10 long years since Felicity left our lives forever and took Noel Crane (Scott Foley) and Ben Covington (Scott Speedman) with her. Since then, we’ve been secretly — Ok, maybe not so secretly — hoping for Scott Speedman to return to our TV screens on a weekly basis. No offense to the other Scott, but Speedman always had our hearts.
Well, it looks like the TV gods have finally answered our call (now if only they’d bring back Malibu Shores)! Scott Speedman stars in the new drama Last Resort as Xo Sam Kendal, who suddenly finds himself in charge of a submarine after his captain (24‘s Andre Braugher) disobeys a direct order from the U.S. government. And as if that isn’t enough to pique your interest, the creators of Last Resort have stuck our eye candy on a beautiful tropical island with lots of irresistible women,...

I’m starting to think Terrence Malick may be beachside for the entirety of his next film(s). We already saw Christian Bale and Wes Bentley relax on the beach for one of Malick’s next back-to-back features, either Knight of Cups and/or the previously titled Lawless. Now we’ve got official confirmation that Natalie Portman is part of the production, as the first set photos of her and Bale have surfaced, seeing them return to the Malibu shores. This marks the Black Swan actress’ first production since she took a break to deliver her child. For Bale, it’s his first post-Batman role after The Dark Knight Rises, along with the currently shooting Out of the Furnace. There’s no telling if these are just test shoots or something that will actually make it into the film, but it’s nice to see things moving along.

It’s not easy being a contestant on The Voice. Not only must these fledgling artists show extreme patience at getting upstaged in the midst of their critiques by chants of “I love you Adam!”/”I love you Xtina!” (possibly delivered by Adam’s and Xtina’s assistants, disguised in trench coats and sunglasses) but they also have to endure backstage interviews in the Sprint lounge conducted by a babbling ponytail attached to a stem-cell smoothie. (Sometimes that entity is referred to as a “Christina Milian.”)

It’s been a tough couple of weeks for women on The Voice — and not just because social media dingbat Christina Milian’s interview skills make DWTS timeslot competitor/world’s most curvaceous robot Brooke Burke look like Christiane Amanpour. Indeed, from the show’s two most recent results-show telecasts, we’ve seen America vote four consecutive men into the semifinal rounds, leaving eight individual ladies completely dependant on their mentors to help them find their way to the four remaining spots in the semifinals.
Which isn’t to imply that the ladies of Season 2 haven’t been primarily responsible for their own precarious fortunes.

After the Super Bowl, fans of "The Voice" witnessed an awkward moment between coach Christina Aguilera and her former "Mickey Mouse Club" castmate, Tony Lucca. He auditioned for the show, but even after he said his name, she didn't recognize him until he'd left the stage. She ultimately did go find him and apologize for not remembering him.
Lucca and the other "The Voice" contestants participated in a press call on Monday to discuss their blind auditions. Lucca admitted that because producers played up the history between himself and Aguilera before he took the stage for the auditions, he was a little nervous about how it would play out.
"The reunion was bizarre in a lot of ways," he told us. "Obviously the producers and I had agreed that was an interesting piece of the story, so we covered a lot of ground on that leading to the blind audition.

Turns out, Tony Lucca, who sang Ray Lamontagne’s “Trouble,” worked with her on The Mickey Mouse Club. (See his audition embedded after the jump.) But judging by all the Tony Lucca love in the comments section of our recap, many of you readers already knew who he was, and Disney had nothing to do with it.

The Voice is different from the other 47 reality singing competitions on TV right now “because it puts vocal ability first,” host Carson Daly boasted during Sunday night’s post-Super Bowl season premiere.
Of course, The Voice also stands out for a few other reasons: it puts Carson in a Kia (instead of an ominous 18-wheeler, like X Factor‘s Steve Jones, or turning him into Ford’s plaything, a la Ryan Seacrest); it doesn’t believe in giving airtime to ham sandwiches with no discernable singing talent; and it isn’t afraid to expose seven-eighths of Christina Aguilera’s heaving...

"The Voice" is never shy about the fact that they invite talent to come audition as opposed to holding "American Idol" style open auditions. As a result, a lot of the contestants on the show have enjoyed a modicum of prior success and are using "The Voice" to move toward the mainstream, household-name level.
Tony Lucca, who was on "The Mickey Mouse Club" beginning when he was 14, is one of those contestants. A longtime boyfriend of "Felicity" star Keri Russell, Lucca is now married and has a son. He starred on the short-lived "Malibu Shores" alongside Russell and toured with *Nsync (and former "Mmc" buds Justin Timberlake and Jc Chasez) for a brief period. Recently, his music was prominently featured on "Friday Night Lights" -- very prominently. "Devil Town" was him.
So did Christina Aguilera recognize her old co-star's voice when he began to sing "Trouble" on the show? Nope.

Charisma Carpenter, best known as sharp-tongued Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, is still keeping company with people who could kick your ass. Together with Lou Ferrigno and Erik Estrada (pictured), she's now a member of The Butterfinger Defense League, a trio that will teach us how to ward off people who want to lay a finger on our Butterfingers. They do this through individual training videos (Carpenter's alter ego "Sassy" has killer hips) and a group remake of a certain Sir Mix-a-Lot hit ("I Like Big Butterfingers"). This week, EW University takes a look at the people who helped shape the modern TV landscape. Our first class on TV Auteurs takes a look at the illustrious, often licentious oeuvre of Aaron Spelling. Class is now in session! Yes, kids, the late Aaron Spelling gave television more than the future star of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. Far, far more, in fact. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Spelling holds the record for the most executive producer credits: 218. That alone, of course, does not an auteur make, but from The Mod Squad to Charlie’s Angels, from Beverly Hills, 90210, to Charmed, a distinct and almost incomprehensibly influential vision emerged. Spelling practically invented the modern TV guilty indulgence, a formula tougher to execute than it looks. When you're watching Burn Notice or Gossip Girl or Desperate Housewives and that "zap" hits the pleasure center of your brain,...
