(at around 4 mins) When TS is picking Brandi up to go to Florida he has longer hair, but during the rest of the movie his hair is much shorter. This is because the scene was re-shot after the original storyline was changed.
(at around 9 mins) Right before Rene breaks up with Brodie, she opens the basement window all the way so that it's touching the ceiling. The window is no longer completely open as she leaves. (In a deleted scene, we see that it keeps sliding shut, but not in the released version of the movie).
(at around 1h 1 min) After coming from Miss Ivannah's, TS parks close to the mall in a spot between a Honda Accord and a Honda Civic. However, in the next shot, when TS and Brodie get out of the car, the station wagon is seen parked farther into the parking spot and between a black pickup and a Ford Taurus. Furthermore, the car is much farther from the mall than it appeared in the previous shot.
(at around 3 mins) When TS pulls up to Brandi's house to pick her up for the trip, all the trees have leaves on them and the grass is green. In all other outdoor shots, the leaves have fallen off the trees and the grass is brown.
(at around 3 mins) When TS first pulls into Brandi's driveway, he drives a Ford. After that (at around 12 mins), he drives a Mercury.
(at around 1h 10 mins) After the stink palm incident Mr. Svenning becomes ill and Roddy explains that he came down with a sudden case of diphtheria. Diphtheria is an upper respiratory tract infection and would not cause excessive vomiting.
(at around 1h 12 mins) In the "Truth or Date" game show, Suitor #3 is introduced as a student at Rutgers majoring in Greek Mythology. There is no such major; he could major in the Classics and that would include studying Greek Mythology, as well as several similar classes. Rutgers offers a major in the Arts and Sciences but not specifically the Classics.
(at around 1h 30 mins) In the standard animal safety credit, "Hennepin County" is misspelled "Hennipen".
(at around 56 mins) The board advertising Ivannah's talents refers to 'rhunestones', a word not to be found in the dictionary. However, rather than a typo it is probably a deliberate melding of 'rhinestone' (a fake diamond) and 'runestone' (a stone with a runic inscription).
(at around 1h 30 mins) The name of security chief LaFours is written incorrectly (as "La Fours") no less than seven times on the end credits.
Rene Mosier changes through at least three outfits during the course of the day. That's because she's been shopping and buying new clothes (see also trivia).
When Brodie and TS first arrive at the mall, the license plates on the cars state New Jersey, then the remainder show Minnesota.
(at around 1h 17 mins) During the game show, Brandi's microphone is not plugged in - the XLR connectors are clearly visible in several shots.
(at around 23 mins) When Silent Bob is riding on the toy truck, a fishing line can be seen pulling the truck in the wide shot of Bob in front of LaFours.
There would be no way that the female contestant would go through 700 laps she would of been exhausted.
(at around 13 mins) When Shannon Hamilton and Brodie collide, you hear liquid hitting the floor from Brodie's cup, but you never see anything fall from the cup.
(at around 23 mins) When Silent Bob is running past the jewelry store, you can see the reflection of the camera man and the camera in the glass cases.
(at around 24 mins) When Silent Bob "skates" through the women's clothing store into the dressing room and sends clothes flying, a hand is seen briefly at the bottom of the screen tossing the clothes into the air.
(at around 32 mins) On the first floor, Brodie notices Rene and Shannon going up the escalator (just to go to the elevator). However, when waiting outside the elevator, some camera shots reveal that they are still on the first floor ("1" is shown on a small sign in the elevator entrance way).
(at around 1h 19 mins) Brodie tells a very unusual story about his cousin Walter. But ends it by mentioning that no one ever breathed a word about the story to anyone else. If this were true, how did Brodie know about it?
(at around 1h 23 mins) When the cop cars converge on the mall, watch the cop from the car close to the camera. His hat is starting to tilt as he emerges from the car and as he runs it completely comes off his head with what seems to be a white "headband" inside that falls away from the hat and both of these are ignored by that cop and the succeeding ones.
(at around 11 mins) Early in the movie TS tells Brodie that callow means "frightened and weak-willed", when in fact it means inexperienced and/or immature.
(at around 4 mins) Brandi tells TS that the female contestant for her dad's show had an embolism pop in her head in mid backstroke. An embolism does not pop, embolisms occur when an clot-like object migrates from one part of the body (through circulation) and causes a blockage (occlusion) of a blood vessel in another part of the body no popping occurs. So technically Brandi must be confusing an embolism with an aneurysm (a localized, blood-filled dilation (balloon-like bulge) of a blood vessel caused by weakening of the vessel wall).
(at around 34 mins) When Shannon and TS are waiting for the elevator, the extra standing right behind Shannon keeps looking at the camera.
(at around 14 mins) The stereogram they're looking at in the movie contains basic shapes, spheres, stars, etc., but the characters state they're seeing a sailboat.
