- Finnish version is censored (over 20 minutes). The cuts include almost every fight of the movie, Jackson's first fight is heavily cut, every Chong Li's fight is cut to pieces. The whole sequence where the "Kumite"-song is heard and it shows several fights is removed, and the final conflict between Dux (J-C Van Damme) and Chong Li (excellent Bolo Yeung) is extremely cut (several minutes).
- In the German version, Frank Dux' name is pronounced "ducks" through the entire film. Which completely contradicts the effort in the original version during the first meeting with Lin that Frank's last name is in fact pronounced "dukes". The German dubbing also added some lines to the audience during the fight sequences. There are several instances in which added dubbing enhances the atmosphere of the scene. When Janice looks away in disgust, after Paredes loses his knee cap during the fight with Chong Li, her acquaintance calms her down by saying "Ja, ist kein schöner Anblick. Einfach nicht hinsehen.", meaning "Yes, it is not a pretty sight. Just don't look at it." Janice then removes a dictaphone from her purse and records "Die Sache spitzt sich zu.", meaning "things are coming to a head".
- The closing 2003 Warner Bros. logo appears in the Blu-ray double feature release containing Bloodsport and Timecop (1994).
