The soldiers searching for the dogs are from 3 Para (Third Battalion, The Parachute Regiment) but the DZ flashes on their right shoulders display an 'X', which was the insignia of 10 Para. The soldiers should be displaying green DZ patches.
It's a British film made in Britain. That is why the sign outside that reads, "No Unauthorised...[etc.]" spells the word with an "S" rather than a "Z." However, when the dogs are finding their way out of the laboratory, the door they pass reads, "Authorized Personnel Only," which is the American spelling of the word.
