Characters' hairstyles, as well as the amount of blood on them, change drastically from shot to shot - a result of shooting the film sporadically over several years. Note that seconds after Ash is completely covered in Linda's blood, he is clean again.
In the cellar when the projector comes on, blood is dripping on the center of the lens in large circles. However, on the screen you see the blood oozing down from the top of the lens rather than dripping on the center.
The design on the box for Linda's pendant changes between shots.
When Scotty first enters the cabin, it is clearly dark out, despite it being daylight outside when he approached the house.
When Scotty is fighting with Shelly in front of the fireplace, Shelly is holding the Kandarian Dagger, however, when the shot cuts to Scotty trying to get his buck knife out of the sheath, you can see the Kandarian Dagger lying on the floor on the bottom right corner of the screen.
The amount varies a lot by which Cheryl can partially open the basement trapdoor in her repeated attempts to get out. In fact at points it seems that the gap is wide enough for her to slither out from, but she doesn't even attempt to.
The giant piece of wood Ash is beating his girlfriend in the head with is obviously foam and actually breaks in half while he's doing it. You can see that he is desperately trying to hold it together.
The sunrise at the end of the movie is reused footage of the sunset at the beginning.
The large moon that looms over the cabin is an obvious projection. You can see a square outline around the moon which is lighter that the rest of the background.
When Ash drags the possessed Linda outside, she is barefoot. A few minutes later, Linda appears back in the cabin and attacks Ash. Ash falls on the couch, and Linda jumps towards him. Ash kicks his feet up to push her away. If you look down at Linda's feet, she is wearing boots.
When Ash smashes Cheryl's hand with the butt of the shotgun, the finger of the fake hand parts slightly to show a hint of a blue rubber kitchen glove, which was filled with the fake blood.
When Ash throws the Book Of The Dead into the fire and Cheryl freezes for a moment (right before she drops the poker) her image is reversed. The gunshot wound on her cheek and the bandage on her forehead are on the wrong side.
At the beginning of the film, the sound of tires screeching on the dirt road do not match what is happening onscreen.
During the dinner scene when the basement door flies open, you can briefly see the arm of the person who flung it open.
Producer Rob Tapert can be seen standing in the bushes when the car starts to cross the bridge. He's digitally erased on the Blu-Ray version.
When the car is rolling onto the bridge at the beginning of the film, a white car is visible behind the trees on the left, following the car.
18:20 into the film. As the fog begins to rise from the ground, you can see the shadow of something being waved back and forth to cause the fog to blow across the shot.
A crewperson is visible outside the window when the white shutters keep on banging.
