Music played a key role in Chace‘s life from a young age, as his dad was a member of a cover band. Considering that, it’s no surprise that he followed in his footsteps and became a musical powerhouse.

The Chinese hitmaker was signed by BMG and is gearing up to drop his debut album Anti-People Pleaser in 2025. We recently got a taste with the release of his single “Tunnel Vision” and its accompanying music video, which was sponsored by Apple China.

We asked Chace to share more about his life and career, and he came through with some fun facts about his history performing, the inspiration for his new album and more!

As natives to both the digital world and the prog-rock scene, Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, a.k.a. Magdalena Bay, are used to doing deep-dives into the maximalist side of things. The Miami-based duo smashes together a myriad of sounds and playfully gaudy visuals into a big, organized mess, and Imaginal Disk finds them at their most radical.

The group’s second studio album offers a confluence of ideas that allows for strange detours through a sonic hall of mirrors. Tracks like “Image,” with its modulating bassline and 4/4 kick drum, and “Love Is Everywhere,” which is marked by woozy Theremin, are loungey disco bops that feel like they were beamed in from a luxury space cruise liner.

Elsewhere, “Killing Time” seamlessly blends Tenenbaum and Lewin’s pop and prog instincts: While imminently danceable, the song boasts piano rolls and a classic guitar solo that place it somewhere on the dark side of the moon.

Magdalena Bay have announced a new album entitled Imaginal Disk, due out August 23rd via Mom+Pop Music. The indie act accompanied the news by dropping their latest single, “Image.” Watch the accompanying music video below.

Imaginal Disk is set to arrive as Magdalena Bay’s sophomore effort, following 2021’s Mercurial World, as well as a host of non-album singles and EPs. As indicated by the recently released “Death & Romance,” Imaginal Disk appears to find the band leaning into their left-field tendencies, with swirling soundscapes, wild sonic pallets, and fierce grooves.

“Image” and its music video are a compelling, intensely danceable first taste of the upcoming record. Vaporwave-tinged and absurdist, the visuals detail a digitally distorted nightmare, complete with star monsters, chase sequences, and the home shopping network.

Veteran unscripted producer Jeff Collins (“Dance Moms”) has sealed an overall deal with Sony Pictures Television – Nonfiction. Under the pact, Collins and his newly launched Resilient Content shingle will focus on creating unscripted programming and developing formats for broadcast, cable and streaming.

“Jeff has a track record of identifying great characters and fascinating environments that lend themselves to hit reality shows,” Sony Pictures Television – Nonfiction prexy Eli Holzman and co-prez Aaron Saidman said in a joint statement. “His slate is an excellent complement to Spt Nonfiction’s existing portfolio, and we look forward to supporting him in bringing his unique brand of content to networks, streamers, and a global audience hungry for great TV.”

It’s actually an entirely different villainous group that has taken Max through the 600 miles of flood channels that lie beneath Las Vegas.

Before the internet, strangely personal celluloid was created on video tapes. Videodrome from 1983 is a frighteningly prescient film if you replace the VHS aspect with the dark web. By the 90s whole films were being shot on Betamax and VHS camcorders. Directed by Jack Henry Robbins, VHYes is a retro comedy of this period which was shot entirely on VHS.

VHYes is a genre-spanning, anthology comedy like Groove Tube, Kentucky Fried Movie and Tunnel Vision. Justin Timberlake has debuted his new single 'Take Back The Night' with a rousing performance at London's Wireless festival on Friday.

It is the first single to be taken from part two of his 2013 album 'The 20/20 Experience'.

Justin Timberlake released his new music video to his latest single off of "The 20/20 Experience" this week. The video to "Tunnel Vision" made headlines with the inclusion of full nudity -- showing a naked woman gyrating to the sound of Timberlake's voice.

While YouTube has a fairly comprehensive ban against nudity, Timberlake's "Tunnel Vision" music video has not been banned from the site.

"While our guidelines generally prohibit nudity, we make exceptions when it is presented in an educational, documentary or artistic context, and take care to add appropriate warnings and age-restrictions," a spokesperson for Google told ABC News.

Taking a break from his musical pursuits, Justin Timberlake showed up at the MySpace Re-Launch shindig in Los Angeles last night (June 12).

The “Suit & Tie” singer headed over to the El Rey Theater to promote the revamped social networking website- he and his friends purchased MySpace in 2011 for $35 million and have been working to bring it back to its former glory ever since.

Meanwhile, Justin dropped the cover art for his new single “Tunnel Vision,” and has raised eyebrows due to the obvious ‘nude lady’ silhouette motif.

As for further new music, Timberlake previously told Ryan Seacrest, “Let me clear a rumor up. The news that this is only the first half of the album, that’s true. That’s all I’m going to say.”
