As natives to both the digital world and the prog-rock scene, Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, a.k.a. Magdalena Bay, are used to doing deep-dives into the maximalist side of things. The Miami-based duo smashes together a myriad of sounds and playfully gaudy visuals into a big, organized mess, and Imaginal Disk finds them at their most radical.
The group’s second studio album offers a confluence of ideas that allows for strange detours through a sonic hall of mirrors. Tracks like “Image,” with its modulating bassline and 4/4 kick drum, and “Love Is Everywhere,” which is marked by woozy Theremin, are loungey disco bops that feel like they were beamed in from a luxury space cruise liner.
Elsewhere, “Killing Time” seamlessly blends Tenenbaum and Lewin’s pop and prog instincts: While imminently danceable, the song boasts piano rolls and a classic guitar solo that place it somewhere on the dark side of the moon.

“Image” and its music video are a compelling, intensely danceable first taste of the upcoming record. Vaporwave-tinged and absurdist, the visuals detail a digitally distorted nightmare, complete with star monsters, chase sequences, and the home shopping network.

Spoiler Alert: This post contains spoilers from “Tunnel Vision,” the series finale of “CSI: Vegas,” which aired on May 19, and is now streaming on Paramount+.
“Things are about to go kaboom.” That’s what Beau (Lex Medlin) says on Sunday night’s series finale of “CSI: Vegas” as he prepares to detonate a series of bombs. But he might be describing everyone’s minds, as the show’s characters discover midway through the episode (“Tunnel Vision”) that they’ve been chasing the wrong villain all season.
With Max (Paula Newsome) kidnapped and Chris (Jay Lee) injured by some sort of nerve agent and in the hospital, the “CSI” team continues to place the blame on tech billionaire Truman Thomas (Owain Yeoman) — until they find his dead body.
It’s actually an entirely different villainous group that has taken Max through the 600 miles of flood channels that lie beneath Las Vegas.

Spoiler Alert! This story contains details from the series finale of CSI: Vegas on CBS.
Like what happened to So Help Me Todd, CSI: Vegas didn’t get a chance to wrap up its three-season run on CBS with any grand gestures or heartfelt goodbyes.
The procedural, which was a followup to the 2000 CSI series, was canceled in April so there was no time to throw together a satisfying ending. So anyone who wanted to see where Maxine’s (Paula Newsome) relationship with Dean was going will have to live with disappointment.
At least there was some positives in the episode dubbed “Tunnel Vision”: Max survived her kidnapping by a Saudi big bad (Faran Tahir) who stole intelligence from Truman Thomas’ secret lab. Chris (Jay Lee) regained consciousness after he was exposed to a nerve agent. Penny (Sarah Gilman) set a wedding date with Jack (Joel Johnstone), and Josh...

Shot entirely on VHS tape, VHYes trailer promises stranger things from the 80s.
Before the internet, strangely personal celluloid was created on video tapes. Videodrome from 1983 is a frighteningly prescient film if you replace the VHS aspect with the dark web. Jake Paul is still your everyday bro, but he now lacks that Disney channel flow.
The 20-year-old burgeoning social media star with over 8.8 million subscribers on YouTube, 8.7 million followers on Instagram, and 1.1 million followers on Twitter is leaving the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark midway through its ongoing second season. Just over a year and a half since the release of his debut album, Speed Of Life, Serbian-born, Australia-based DJ/producer Dragan Roganovic, aka Dirty South, returns to the fold with his second studio effort, With You. Not only is the record the soundtrack to an accompanying 38-minute film directed by the house musician himself, but it also features vocal contributions from a range of impressive acts, including Rudy, Ruben Haze, J Hart, Fmlybnd, Kids Without Instruments and Sam Martin
With You is a twelve-track collection of warm, melodic dance tunes – many of which possess a strong pop sensibility. Characterized by their easygoing romanticism and use of euphoric airy synths, the tracks easily gel together. The majority of the songs are notably radio-friendly, with more than a couple of them resembling some of the year’s better Edm chart crossover tracks. At its best, With You is heartfelt and almost tranquil.

The majority of the songs are notably radio-friendly, with more than a couple of them resembling some of the year’s better Edm chart crossover tracks. At its best, With You is heartfelt and almost tranquil.

Nightcrawler marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Dan Gilroy and tells the twisted tale of a young man who stumbles upon the underground world of Los Angeles freelance crime journalism. Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Louis Bloom, a character who exists in a world where it’s easier to get an internship or a minimum wage job than it is to get full time work, and he is scrambling to find anything that pays.
While driving home one night, he comes across a car accident which two cameramen start filming in hopes of selling footage to Los Angeles news stations. Louis picks up on the idea, buys a video camera and a police scanner and starts doing freelance work on his own. Eventually, he hooks up with a woman named Nina (Rene Russo), who oversees a local news station and purchases his footage. From there, they cross an endless number of...

Justin Timberlake has debuted his new single 'Take Back The Night' with a rousing performance at London's Wireless festival on Friday.
It is the first single to be taken from part two of his 2013 album 'The 20/20 Experience'.
Teasing the excited crowds, he asked: "Can I do something new new? Like brand spanking new baby ass spanking new?" before launching into the club-ready, smooth and funky track, which was teased earlier this week with a short video.

And that wasn't the only treat the six-time Grammy Award-winning Hollywood star had for the crowd at London's Olympic Park in Stratford during his 1 hour 40 minute long set.
He launched into the show with his number two 2002 single 'Like I Love You', wearing fitted black trousers and and an even tighter black shirt, true to his suave new style seen in his 'Suit and Tie' video and showing off his surprisingly muscly physique.

Breasts tastefully abound in Justin Timberlake’s new video for “Tunnel Vision,” and YouTube is totally okay with that. Despite rumors that the video would be banned because of excessive nudity, it instead got a content warning at the beginning, which will undoubtedly stop absolutely no one from watching. A Google representative tells ABC News, “We make exceptions when [nudity] is presented in an educational, documentary or artistic context, and take care to add appropriate warnings and age-restrictions.” Naturally, this statement raises a few questions about what the company considers art, since earlier this year YouTube banned the explicit version ...

Watching the "Tunnel Vision" video can be off-putting because it tends to lead with a preview of Runner Runner, Justin Timberlake's upcoming movie with Ben Affleck. But it's also alarming because, like with that awful boobnose single art, "Tunnel Vision" very much commits to the smoky naked woman vibe. While the video possesses some sense that Robin Thicke's seemingly misogynistic "Blurred Lines" video lacked — Jt and the completely naked women are at least mostly in separate shots — there's still a 100 percent buttoned-up Timberlake and a slew of inexplicably clothesless, writhing females. The video debuted on July 3 and was pulled for a few hours, cited as "a violation of YouTube's policy on nudity or sexual content." After the clip's return, a YouTube rep, reiterating the site's general nudity policy and not commenting specifically on Jt, told E!, "While our guidelines generally prohibit nudity, we make exceptions when it...

Justin Timberlake released his new music video to his latest single off of "The 20/20 Experience" this week. The video to "Tunnel Vision" made headlines with the inclusion of full nudity -- showing a naked woman gyrating to the sound of Timberlake's voice.
While YouTube has a fairly comprehensive ban against nudity, Timberlake's "Tunnel Vision" music video has not been banned from the site.
"While our guidelines generally prohibit nudity, we make exceptions when it is presented in an educational, documentary or artistic context, and take care to add appropriate warnings and age-restrictions," a spokesperson for Google told ABC News.
The official guidelines on nudity outline when videos can include naked bodies. "Most nudity is not allowed, particularly if it is in a sexual context," the YouTube rules read. "Generally if a video is intended to be sexually provocative, it is less likely to be acceptable for YouTube. There are exceptions for some educational,...

On July 4th, a devilishly handsome, crooning, thirtysomething R&B singer released a music video featuring topless women, and no, it wasn't Robin Thicke. Justin Timberlake, perhaps taking a page out of Thicke's book, released a video for his song 'Tunnel Vision', only to have to removed from YouTube thanks to its explicit content. The video features Timberlake singing in front of a stark background while nude models dance and gyrate around him. It is reminiscent of Thicke's red hot video for 'Blurred Lines', which also features scantily clad women. It is the Sfw 'Blurred Lines' video, however, that has scored 77 million views and has helped the song become #1 in America. Whether or not Jt was actively ripping of Thicke or simply acting as all sexy R&B singers do is up for debate. At first, YouTube struck down the explicit version of 'Tunnel Vision', an...

Taking a break from his musical pursuits, Justin Timberlake showed up at the MySpace Re-Launch shindig in Los Angeles last night (June 12).
The “Suit & Tie” singer headed over to the El Rey Theater to promote the revamped social networking website- he and his friends purchased MySpace in 2011 for $35 million and have been working to bring it back to its former glory ever since.
Meanwhile, Justin dropped the cover art for his new single “Tunnel Vision,” and has raised eyebrows due to the obvious ‘nude lady’ silhouette motif.
As for further new music, Timberlake previously told Ryan Seacrest, “Let me clear a rumor up. The news that this is only the first half of the album, that’s true. That’s all I’m going to say.”
The second half of his 20/20 Experience is due to hit stores on September 30th.

Justin Timberlake is known to be a trendsetter with impeccable taste, but his latest decision has many wondering what the "Suit & Tie" singer was thinking.
The "Tunnel Vision" single art Timberlake shows the silhouette of a naked woman that has the singer's face transposed on it. It's a bit jarring, and more than a bit odd -- take a look below.
"Tunnel Vision" is the third single off Timerlake's comeback album "The 20/20 Experience," following "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors." Set for release on July 15, the track will make its impact just as Timberlake and Jay-z (who appeared on "Suit & Tie") embark on their Legends of Summer Tour.
What do you think of the artwork? Is it sexy, or just plain curious?...

Remember those boys in high school who were all about naked women? The ones who always talked about boobs, snuck Playboys in their lockers, and dreamt of seeing your older sister coming out of the pool? Those boys (and only them) would love Justin’s Timberlake’s new single art. That’s because the art for "Tunnel Vision," Jt’s third release off his latest album The 20/20 Experience, is not only awful, but it makes the man whose frosted tips we once loved so much seem no more mature than a frustrated teenager. If you are looking for this to be another Justified or FutureSex/LoveSounds, it's not.
