The island shown in the opening scene of the movie is the same island shown in Gilligan's Island
According to Mylène Demongeot's autobiography, Gina Lollobrigida did not want her on the movie. The two didn't get along but eventually connected years later at a festival. She also mentioned that, since Bob Hope was very secluded during filming, it was sadly impossible to make a connection.
