For the film's fiftieth anniversary, the Cinémathèque québécoise, under the leadership of Pierre Jutras 3 , has created and made public a superb and indispensable dossier on À tout rire 4 , which also includes the publication of the film in its various versions: 35 mm, 16 mm and English version, which has been translated by none other than... Leonard Cohen.
All the participants of the film, present at the premiere at the Saint-Denis theater on May 15, 1964, were dressed in elegant suits made by the company Hyde Park Clothes.
