- During the 1970s Tammi (pronounced Ta-ME) Tyler was one of the stars of the sitcom "Here Comes Corky." Her acting career was cut short unexpectedly when she killed her costar, Captain Billy after eating a PCP-laced cupcake. In the intervening years Tammi grew up amid obscurity. Now she works in the Funky Fox Café in the San Fernando Valley's Plaza del Toro shopping center and hoping for a comeback. In the first episode, she tells barmaid Patti that she hopes to marry the next man to visit the Funky Fox. Embarrassingly, it's Harve Krudup, who owns the shopping center's Starbrite Cleaners--just the one location, not the whole Beverly Hills-based chain, like Tammi thought. Tammi's Hollywood-comeback attempts form most of this sitcom's stories.
- In this episode, Carlos Eduardo Rico does a comedy routine in three parts. The first part of the routine starts midway through the first segment of this episode, instead of after the commercial break. The final segment features the sketch "Bodas de Oro", in which "Virginola" (Aida Pierce) and her husband (Carlos Espejel) celebrate their golden wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows.
- 1999–2001TV EpisodeThis episode features another of Jo Jo Jorge Falcon's hilarious comedy routines. It's followed by the sketch "De Entierro En Entierro." In this sketch, set at the cemetery, Aida Pierce plays two roles: a widow who is grieving for the recently buried, and, of course, Virginola. This time Virginola is the matriarch of the family whose funeral gets underway except...that there is no corpse! That's Teo Gonzalez they're trying to bury!
- This episode features a hilarious guest appearance by puppeteer Johnny Welch, plus the sketch "La Confesion". In this sketch, Virginola (Aida Pierce) is sick. Her husband (Carlos Espejel) opens the door and suddenly the doctor (Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo) comes in and tries to heal Virginola!
- One of several episodes consisting entirely of comedy routines by stand-up comedians, this episode features a two-part routine by Maria Alicia Delgado in her "La Abuela" characterization. The final segment features Jo Jo Jorge Falcon presenting another of his routines.
- The second-season opener of the series features a skit featuring Noe Alvarado and Adrian Uribe as policemen! It's followed by the sketch "La Rubia Que Todos Quieren," set at a beauty pageant! The last segment features Jo Jo Jorge Falcon. Jose Suarez's last "Humor es...Los Comediantes" episode, and Shamila's first appearance on the series; Juan Verduzco appears in "La Rubia Que Todos Quieren" unbilled.
- Guest star Mauricio Herrera does a few jokes...and plays the saw in this episode! It's followed by the sketch "Chin que Novia". This sketch marked Yekaterina Kiev's final "Humor es...Los Comediantes"; Kiev, one of the original cohosts of the series, was no longer a cast member by this time, her duties having already been given to Aida Pierce (who is also in this sketch) and Shamila.
- 1999–2001TV EpisodeThis episode features performances from Memo Rios and Jesus Roberto "El Bala", plus the sketch "El Ganadero." In "El Ganadero," three western-type guys fight over the same girl after she brings the men beer. "El Ganadero" marked Aida Pierce's first sketch on this series.
- 1999–2001TV EpisodeThis episode opens with a two-part comedy routine from "El Costeno", aka Javier Carranza. Then there is a sketch in which Carlos Espejel and Teo Gonzalez are among those attending the America-Chivas soccer match; Gonzalez in real life was a goalkeeper for the Leon professional soccer team before becoming a comedian. The final segment features Jose Natera's comedy routine.
