Noah Funk is a Mennonite in good standing with his church congregation and agrees to become the congregation's new pastor. He has a wife and two teenagers attending high school in the town of Antioch, a small town with a population of 9,500. The Mennonites are struggling with a few of their members being wolves hiding in sheep's clothing. These (Mennonite) wolves are actually drug dealers, extortionists and murderers and it is now up to the new pastor Noah Funk to keep his congregation both spiritually and physically free from outside temptations such as drugs and prostitution which surround the town of Antioch. In this pilot episode we witness how the new pastor, Noah Funk addresses the corruption and murders caused by the drug dealers in his congregation and how the drug dealers retaliate against pastor Noah Funks initial actions to weed them out of his church.

Noah Funk's ultimatum by drug kingpin Eli Voss is to accept his role as the local drug distributor, or kill his own brother. Voss also threatens to kill Noah's family as well unless Noah agrees to manage the drug distribution business.

The local drug dealers demand on reduced rates for drugs from Noah in exchange for towing the plane out of the water. Noah devises his own plan to pull the drug plane out of the lake and retrieve the drugs without their assistance.

Gerry Epp, while still in jail, threatens Noah that he will come after his brother, his wife and his children if Noah does not follow Eli's instructions in his drug empire.

Noah and Anna Funk find themselves under excruciating pressure from drug lord Eli Voss when he threatens Eli's brother Abel, and their daughter Tina has also disappeared and Eli advises Noah and Anna all will be well if they do as he says.

While Noah is held captive Eli Voss goes about tying up loose ends. Anna continues to show her resourcefulness in the face of dangers arising from the business. Agent Riley and Novak refuse to give up. Someone is forced to choose sides as someone new is shown the business.

A year after Noah's disappearance, Anna struggles to support her family since she has been excommunicated. Noah gets a sign from God that he has not been forgotten.

Anna returns to her life as a drug lord as she continues to find a way to free her son from the cartel. Noah and Abel agree to help the police find the new drug lord.

Anna hopes to accelerate Isaak's return by delivering a extra large shipment of cocaine. Noah meets the new crime boss.

Anna's attempt to cover her criminal tracks prompts an unexpected offer of marriage. Noah discovers that Anna is not the only family member working for the cartel.

Anna seeks to guarantee Tina's acceptance in the colony. Noah's plan to expose Anna's boss may backfire.

Anna's nemesis, Justina Epp, turns Tina's wedding into a battleground of wills. Noah confronts Hector over kidnapping Isaac, forcing Isaac to make a terrible choice.
