- Contra Security, a high-tech security firm that takes extreme - and often questionable - measures to sell its protection services is corporate America's answer to "The A-Team," giving clients a sense of security by first ripping it away. In the opener, Contra's man of mystery owner, Oz, blackmails his newest recruit, computer hacker Cameron, to join his team. Cameron quickly learns that cracking into state-of-the-art security systems is a lot easier than dealing with his co-workers, including the alluring Melanie, prank-pulling Cash and competitive Josh.

It turns out a virtual, physically dangerous fortress belonging to a fox. It keeps getting worse: she turns out to be Cam's new dentist flame, a fake damsel in distress and Oz's dreaded ex, with plans of her own for both boys as well as sabotaging the job.

- When he's forced to prove his worth to the company by working with Contra's newest client, NASCAR racer Jimmie Johnson, Cameron (Bret Harrison) turns to Melanie's (Odette Annable) boyfriend, Dutch (Michael Rosenbaum) for help. Meanwhile, Cash (Alphonso McAuley) turns the office copy machine into a very human robot.
- Oz and the team are assigned to protect the sequel to "The Goonies" at a comic convention, and suspicion turns to fanboy Cash when the only copy of the movie goes missing.
- When Contra Security is hired to find a teen cyber-bully, Cameron finds himself back at his former high school, where he must relive his un-glory days.
- Cam learns that Mel is considering moving in with Dutch which upsets him. He talks to Cash and says something which Mel overhears and construes as an insult. When Oz sends them on a job, which is blown because Mel is stinging from what he said and cause disarray. Oz then decides to teach them a lesson by locking them in the office and if they want to get out they have to find a way but the place is extremely secure.
- Cameron, Cash and Melanie discover that Oz is forced to sell the company to a corporate conglomerate headed by the brash and bold Veronica Mann, who along with her prickly British assistant Molly, turns the office upside-down.
- Veronica (Megan Mullally) believes her career is in jeopardy when longtime corporate rival Heather O'Brien (guest star Perrey Reeves) decides to give Contra a makeover. Hoping to woo Heather's lovely assistant, Cameron (Bret Harrison) tries to make his phony green card marriage to Molly (Erin Richards) appear legitimate.
- After she's banned from Contra's boys' night out, Veronica (Megan Mullally) rallies the women for their own night on the town. But as Cameron (Bret Harrison) worries about being the subject of the girls' gossip, the disappearance of a prized trophy forces Contra's men and women to join forces to find it.
- As Oz (Christian Slater) squares off in a fight to the finish with his longtime nemesis Henry Shaw (guest star Samm Levine), Cameron's (Bret Harrison) marriage to Molly (Erin Richards) is threatened by the unexpected return of his ex-girlfriend and Contra's lock-picking expert, Melanie (Odette Annable).
- Molly's uncle, Star Wars star Peter Mayhew, hires the delighted Contra team to retrieve his stolen Chewbacca costume for a fortune. Oz hopes that will enable him to buy the firm back from OCP, but still finds Veronica's help indispensable.
- As Veronica (Megan Mullally) moves to take over Contra, Oz (Christian Slater) resists her efforts to transform the company into a bland corporate subsidiary as he tries to retain the loyalty of his staff.
- When Veronica doesn't approve of Contra's annual contract with a lingerie company to protect an extremely valuable diamond-encrusted bra, the team goes behind her back to pull it off (the mission, not the bra).
- As the team searches for a computer hacker, Oz worries when Veronica allows a young teen to become the office's new intern. Meanwhile, Cam and Melanie have an awkward night on a stake-out and Molly becomes "protocol officer".
- Cameron gets cornered when Veronica gets jealous of the universal popularity of elusive international sales rep Jones, and commandeers him to undermine that 'rival' for popularity while prodding everyone to revel in her own lavish party, but also threatening with the sack to attend reluctantly, while Oz discloses to Molly Jones's true identity and job. Cash is pushed to stop swooning about lunch girl and finally make a move.
- After Veronica's careless office behavior threatens to undermine Oz's authority, Oz retaliates by turning Veronica's assistant (Molly) against her through a series of CIA-level deprogramming steps. However, the plan goes horribly wrong when Molly develops a crush on Oz, forcing him to enlist Cash as his "Cyrano De Nerdgerac" to repel the smitten Molly.
- Losing a new account to his former protégé (guest star Samm Levine) forces Oz (Christian Slater) to admit that he's been harboring a costly secret. Meanwhile, Cameron (Bret Harrison) looks to break Cash (Alphonso McAuley) of his online auction habit.
- As Veronica (Megan Mullally) dupes Cameron (Bret Harrison) into being her date for a wedding, Oz (Christian Slater) plots to help Cash (Alphonso McAuley) land a date with Molly (Erin Richards).
- When her visa expires, Molly's (Erin Richards) imminent deportation leads her into a sham marriage with Cameron (Bret Harrison). Meanwhile, Oz (Christian Slater) discovers that he is still married to his ex-wife Amy (guest star Alyssa Milano).
