Born in Italy, his family moved to Chicago via NYC when he was 10. Walked backstage during his high school theater rehearsal of the musical KISMET...! Italian actor, director and comedian Roberto D'Antona was born in Taranto, he is the youngest of four children. He was just eleven when he took on the starring role in his first short film. In 2006, he joined a theater company and even if Roberto was suffering greatly from the separation of his parents, he faced the future more determinedly and continued to hope to shine on the big screen. From that moment his acting career started. In 2010, Roberto worked as assistant production and actor in several important music videos. In 2012, after starring in several short films, commercials and series, Roberto became nationally-renowned thanks to Dylan Dog: Il trillo del diavolo (2012) by winning the Best Fan Film 2013 to Cartoomics: Fan Film Festival in Milan. In the same year he directed and starred a no sense web series called A.Z.A.S: All Zombies Are Stupid (2012). The series has won five awards in LA Web Series Fest 2013 in Los Angeles (USA), including Best Director and Best Comedy/Horror Series. In 2013, he made one of the most award-winning Italian web series in the world, Johnny (2013), that led Roberto to win even as Best Lead Actor and Best Villain. Many movies and short films followed, but the character that will make him famous is the weirdo sado-masochist Condom in the movie Insane (2015). He won with this character four awards of excellence, among them that of Best Supporting Actor at the London Film Awards 2014 and at the American Movie Awards 2015. In 2016, he will play the main character Sam in the award-winning television series that he wrote, directed, produced and created: The Reaping (2017). Eros D'Antona is an Italian-born director, writer, and editor, known for his work in the independent film scene, particularly within the horror and thriller genres. Throughout his nearly 16-year career, Eros has directed, written, and edited seven feature films that have been distributed worldwide across various platforms. His notable works include Haunted (2017), Die in One Day (2017), and The Demon's Child (2022), the latter of which has garnered close to 10 million views on AVOD platforms.
Eros began his career in 2008, working as an assistant director and editor, with a strong foundation in music videos for both domestic and international artists. He gained experience across a wide range of productions, including docufilms, reportage, and commercials. He also served as the director of photography and editor for the documentary L'Ambiente audio/cinetico di Antonio De Franchis, which was presented at the Biennale di Venezia in 2011 and is now part of the collection at the Museum of Contemporary Italian Art in Exile.
In 2012, Eros directed his first short film, Mind Trip (2012), which opened doors for him in Milan's television and advertising industry. In 2014 Eros produced and directed the award-winning feature film Insane (2015), his first one, and his career expanded internationally in 2015 when he directed his first English-language feature, Haunted (2017).
Eros' films have achieved recognition worldwide, with Haunted (2017) and Die in One Day (2017) receiving also theatrical releases. His most recent project, Bloody Trip: The Equinox Killer (2024), attracted over 700,000 views within the first 10 days of its release, despite minimal marketing.
Alongside his wife, Kateryna Korchynska, he founded a production company dedicated to producing micro and low-budget feature films. Together, they have already produced several projects.

Alex D'Antona (Taranto, May 19, 1987) is an Italian independent film director, screenwriter, and actor, currently a university student at DAMS in Bari.
In 2014, he embarked on his journey as a theatrical actor with the Mola-based company "Tuttinscena - Cultura & Spettacolo," where he challenged himself by taking on completely different roles, ranging from the hunchback Iago in Aladdin to the Cat in Pinocchio. His first role in cinema came in 2016 when he portrayed the ghost of an old lady in the film "Haunted" by Funny Dreamers Production, which had international distribution. He continued collaborating with Funny Dreamers on "Clownery" and simultaneously joined L/D Production Company as a cast and crew member for projects such as "The Last Heroes," "Caleb," and "Hidden - Verita' Sepolte."
His debut as a director and screenwriter occurred in 2021 with "Applausi," a short film denouncing homobitransphobia in Italy. The film was conceived and produced in collaboration with Fabiano Tagarelli in response to the Senate's shelving of the DDL Zan. The synergy between the two directors was so strong that they formed a small collective, an informal production group called PAF! Production. In 2012, to pursue his passion for acting, he moved to Rome. He began to study various techniques with many gifted actors coaches both in Italy and the USA. Among them were Ivana Chubbuck, Bernard Hiller and Paul Haggis.
In 2015, his first major film, playing the leading role, was in the thriller "DIABOLIKA" in Italy. For this he received the "VII International Social Commitment Award" the "Star of Merit" as "Young Starring Actor In An International Movie".
He then played the leading role of Steven in the short film "ANIEL" Directed by Clyde Anderson AKA Claudio Fragasso.
In 2016 his next role was in the short film "BELLO DI MAMMA TUA" and he was awarded as "Best Starring Actor" at the "Film Festival Terra Di Siena".

Directed by Diego Ruiz, with Nadia Rinaldi and Milena Miconi. After completing a most successful run in Rome, the play has been on tour all over Italy in theaters for three months.
From the overwhelming reviews and outstanding ticket sales, the director Ruiz cast Caretta in the upcoming leading role of Tommy in the show "LA CILIEGINA SULLA TORTA" with Ugo Dighero and Edy Angelillo, now in preproduction to open later this year.
