The first part was very interesting and well made. However the 3rd act was just awful. Kind of a rip of Silence of the Lambs but riddled with plot holes and character choices making no sense. The FBI was probably the most useless and stupid agents in any movie. The main character and titular character were just nonsense. I regret buying my movie ticket when I could've waited a couple weeks to stream it. Calling this a masterpiece is just insanity.

After Lee's doll was destroyed, she just takes a nap and there is no change? The Mom was doing all this to protect her but then pulls a knife on her at the birthday party? So the 20+ years of helping the devil was pointless?
Is the killing plot ruined if the family doesn't allow a creepy stranger into their home? Couldn't Longlegs mail the metal orb to the family or throw it through their window?
Why was Longlegs helping the Devil? Was he trying to get caught by leaving letters? Was he sneaking in after the fact to leave these letters? How did he get his victims birthdays? There was no evidence of creepy dolls at each crime scene?
Why was Lee an FBI agent? How did she not notice a creepy dollmaker in her basement for a decade?
The character's actions and motives just make no sense. Boring main character and boring villain.
