As short films go, this is up there as one of the briefest at only six and a half minutes long. However, it is filmed well, with good images and great acting.
The film is about two strangers who, as it turns out, are both looking for an escape, and, by chance, meet on the streets of Dublin late at night. They end up by the sea at Howth, just north of Dublin.
Compared to other short films I have seen, this is subtle and beautifully acted, with a touch of honesty and realism. It could almost be the start of a much bigger film, as the viewer is left wondering about each of the characters, how they got there, and where they will end up next. Good, simple entertainment.
