This movie was my type of film although I don't suspect that I will be in the minority when I say, I am renting these low-budget horror films to be scared and to be entertained. If you are here to be engulfed into some form of Oscar winning narrative coupled with outstanding performances, then this is not for you. No spoilers but the film is essentially a freakin beautiful thrill ride that never lets up. It lags in the beginning after a few moments of disturbing events. But once it gets going it's like someone pieced together a mosaic of all horror films and gave a platter of deliciousness. We were grabbing each other all night! I mean good Jesus was it fun. We turned the lights off and the music up loud and just enjoyed it. So kudos to the film makers. I am usually not a huge Uncork'd fan but I guess a dead clock is right twice a day!
